The truth of looking for those jaw-dropping-vinyl-bargains is that you have to endure a lot of high prices and poor quality experiences, but to those that persist, the bargains will come. Thank you for showing the "dark" side of vinyl hunting too. There is always that hope that next time will be better.
Incredible that they did not open on time. I knew I should have bought my Ice Castle a couple years ago. Always fun to explore a new area to dig for gold Chris. A lot of similar albums.
Hi Chris!!! Well you know how the process goes..... find a "cool" record, check the price, then condition ask yourself are they nut$$. that's the awful truth of vinyl hunting, thanks for showing it to the rest of the VC. cheers and be well
Off topic, but Im curious about your opinion about the recent vinyl sales up/ vinyl sales down debate. How do you agregate data about a market where the most relevant data ( independent record stores) is probably partially or totally missing. Most of the other sales data is from self interested parties that are part of the music industry. Discogs says sales are up. They are strongly biased in the market staying strong. I guess when Walmart pulls the vinyl section, that'll be a big red flag. Course they are so big they can do "loss leader" things.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! That one bin in the corner we initially turn away from might have what we want...so back we go. I'm also annoyed when the LPs are in the bin backwards. Think, people! 😎🎶

I sometimes just laugh when the records are particularly ridiculously priced.
@RekkidTalk Especially when they are priced as NM but they are only G-..... That's hilarious.

Open late, close early, the secret of a successful antique store.
That broken crate was cool! Modern English album also good.
Modern English was 50% off the price tag.

Yeah, I don't find awesome rekkids in great shape for $1 every time.

I can report sales of old easy listening/classic country/gospel/polka rekkids has remained constant over the past several years. 📈📉📊

People don't think!
The Echoes had a problem with spelling. When they sing Baby Blue they go "B-b-a-b-y".
Ha, this just showed up hours after you posted it. YT gremlins strike again.
its called a "cut out" , not a tear.
"Where are the Dead"? Answer: Watching Vinyl Community videos.
Yeah, this isn't the most thrilling collection of rekkids I've ever found.
@RekkidTalk Next time better!
Wouldn't go back to that shop. Flea markets have better stuff
Yeah, most of it was pretty grim, but there's always hope that an antique mall will have a new vendor with reasonably priced desirable records.
