The road to Pai from Chiang Mai is a stomach-churning nausea-inducing blood-pressure-increasing 80-mile-long nightmare. The road has 762 hairpin turns and is one of the most dangerous stretches in the world!
With such a potentially vomit-inducing journey for us that we thought we'd make a wee video to show you how we (almost) survived the journey without any problems. The first two hours of a four hour journey are perfectly fine and then the mountain roads kick in and boy do they kick in! The last hour is something to remember if you can get over the nausea the scenery is stunning!
