The government has imposed strict lock downs on some areas. The army is present in many other locations and moving out tourists from places such as Cat Ba Island. This is part 1of 2 showing the night markets in Chiang Mai. At the beginning of this part, we fall into some of the tourist traps and it shows on our faces that this isn't our favourite place to be but we move on and have a great time! We decide to return back to the Chinese market that we visited previously as we enjoyed it there so much (🎬you can watch that here: th-cam.com/video/oIw6auP8LIc/w-d-xo.html). Many tourists were not happy with how much of the food looked but we were more than OK to get stuck in! 🍗🍍🍜

As the thumbnail suggests, there are some VERY fresh items on sale here but don't let that put you off! 🍉🌽🍚🍜🍇🍈🍋🍌🍍 In the day time, the market is full of locals, picking up supplies for home or filling up tricycles to take back to their businesses. Either way, it's a fascinating place that we loved! A must-do while in Chiang Mai, don't just stick to the tourist-orientated night bazaars further south. There is a HUGE choice of food at EXTREMELY low prices💲 in this market, you'd be mad to miss it! Visiting a local market in Thailand is one of the most interesting things to do, you'll learn more about the culture there than almost anywhere else. We hope that you enjoy 👍

Really like the videos guys. I was horrified by how much plastic street vendors in Bangkok give you. I've heard that Thailand has recently banned the use of single use plastic. Please make a video to show if things got better. Safe travels.

Hi Veronika and David, Since i am the first person to comment on your TH-cam channel, i hope i can take the liberty to give you a honest feedback/opinion. First of all, let me congratulate you on the bold decision to sell off everything and travel the world for next 2 years(hope it will be life long). I have watched all your videos so far and let me tell you, you are improving each time. From the start itself, your editing and shooting skills have been commendable. (Do share the equipments and software/app that you use) Also good branding, nice music selections, and nice intro/outro from the beginning. Only thing which i would like you to improve is to provide more info about the place you visit(including captions within the video), because most don't spend time reading the video description. Also, make it more information/knowledge oriented than personal(what the viewers would like to watch) Please keep in mind,if you want to get more subscribers and views, you need to keep 3 things in mind. 1. Quality of the content->you already have it 2. Consistency->you got that too, considering the effort you take to shoot,edit and upload videos even during such a long journey (but keep it coming) 3. Patience-i hope you have loads of it as you would need it a lot during the first few weeks/months. I wish you a great success and a good 2020. Keep Travelling, capturing and uploading. PS: you must be wondering why i dont do these to promote my channel. I have done a lot of research in this topic, but I am too lazy and I suck bigtime in editing. ;)
