I've seen some really bad fixes on the Cadillac armrests but your repair looks like factory new. GM used plastic on the armrest covers and not leather. I'll have to post this video in a Cadillac form.
Both armrests came out great. I had my ds armrest off my 78 Coupe, repaired locally. It had a piece missing and was cracked. Once the repair was done, they matched the color, and the repair was painted over. I do have a perfect crack free armrest to use in a later day, should the armrest crack again. But it has been 2 yrs since that repair and still holding up.
@j9theupholsterer it was. They also did a small repair on my leather driver side seat on the upper back section towards the the bottom where it meets the bottom section of the bottom seat (if that made sense) it came out great but due to wear and tear, it split again but not really noticeable. I pull the seat belt down to have some slack and it covers it up 😁 I have a perfect condition dash pad that has no cracks. Just need to dye it to match. Also have a restored perfect steering wheel as well but haven't installed it. That has been dyed to match my cars interior, originally it was green and was purchased off eBay
