I enjoyed the video, and, the learning process. Are you going to be making follow-up videos on this project? Thanks, Phillip Hall

Thank you! Yes, I'm planning on making videos during the whole build, and showing what I'm working on along the way.

😮- i would have just dyed it to the other color. Or was this not an option? Do you still have this top (the one torn off) maybe i can use it on my 78 Coupe and dye it to match the original color. Code Y Mulberry

I plan on painting the roof instead of a vinyl top. Unfortunately this one ripped when I took it off. But, I think you can buy a factory style top, possibly in the colour you're looking for.

@j9theupholsterer I was thinking of the same as an alternative to vinyl but then I'd have to prep the the top and mold the back glass frame, so no, that's no longer an option. Didn't look like it ripped when taking it off, I did see you tear it towards the end of clip once it was all removed. I had made my comment before the conclusion of video. And yes I can, there's a business out in Oregon that specializes in auto fabric and they have the color of my vinyl top. I was quoted about $600 to have it stitched up and sent over. This was 2 years ago when I first got my 78 Coupe. Now that same quote is at about $900. I had the $$ to get it done this year but unfortunately my 78 Coupe overheated and spent the $$ for its repair. I've seen a video here on TH-cam where a guy fills in the cracks on his vinyl top on a t-bird with leather filler, sands it, and preps it with SEM vinyl paint and the results are amazing. I'm considering this route. We'll see.....have a good one

It surprised me when it ripped, I wasn't expecting that. The tbird top that you mentioned sounds interesting! I've seen many painted, but not to that extent. It would be neat to see it in person. I definitely have a huge job ahead of me haha
