My front to back set up necessities are bumper wheels tires a arms steering stem and bars clutch perch handguards nerf bars swingarm skid plates sprockets and chain rear tires and beadlocks exhaust intake and a programmer. Obviously in the motor too i run stage 3 cams cp piston little valve porting. All long travel i run fox rc3s up front and a tuned stock yamaha rear. Theres a lot of my set up it all makes a difference gear can be an area to save money on. Running an older quad will need more money in the motor. Most parts are good and cross fit on whats out there saying 13 to current yfz450s so you can get a good set of walsh or houser a arms for cheap and shocks too you can get em and rebuild em for half price of new
i'm new and wanna get into racing but i'm having huge issues power sliding and i even rolled twice. i'm riding honda 400ex. i'm thinking bigger a arms and lowering the front
Gotta work on body positioning but also suspension and tire setup. It sucks to say but you also may wanna ditch the 400 for a 450. I know 400s can be built pretty well but the 450s are unmatched
Buying an 05 trx450 next week already setup for the track just want something I can do on the weekday nights at my local track while I drag and hill climb my other wheeler on weekends. What’s your best advice for seeing out and reading jumps and best pathing
I've wanted to start racing for a while and I picked up a quad not too long ago and I was wondering if you think id be able to race with the one I have, its a 1995 Suzuki lt230 quad runner, it has service style plastics and no rear suspension and I was wondering if id be able to race with it or if they might not let me, the only big problem I have is that I'm about as broke as you can be so I don't really have the money to get anything for it and even if I did part for it aren't the easiest to find, id appreciate some help and advice
Hey I want to get into atv racing . My dad has a old Honda 250r bored to be a 310 , with elka suspension and it’s literally made for racing . I was wondering if there Is a class for or grouping for my atv? Since I daught a lot of people race 2 stroke atvs since they are older and rarer , and more people have 450s .

+2 A arms and rear axle will help a ton.
If you set your ride up it will help a lot

Do they let the Trx 250r's run with the four strokes in A&B classes and what about tracks Like RedBud ot Loretta Lynn?

There are many classes at the national level to accommodate. You should also have little issue at the local level finding one as well!

Open C if you're a beginner as far as racing. Personally I'd switch to a 450 if you wanna be successful
