As much as I'd Iike to see Chase Elliott win, Daytona and Talladega are the most unpredictable races of the season. They are anyone's race until they cross the finish line in the tri-oval.
Word of advice; turn off the Anti-Lock Brakes in the Controls menu (located in Options), having it on is honestly just a hindrance on the performance of the brakes. It may take some time getting used to though as locking up is pretty easy and can leave a lot of damage on your tires, just make sure you're not turning suddenly while on the brakes or get on them 100%. Loving the series though, have fun with NR it's very gimmicky lol
I would love to see you try some other mods besides this one.
Check out the Splash&Go mods. Especially their gen 4 mods - cup98 and Winston cup 2003-05

theres no shot elliott will win it, the plate package favors the fords heavily, though i would say blaney is a solid pick.
Clearly you don't drive NR2003S very much. You need to turn off anti-lock brakes. You can see if you have damage in the F9 menu while racing under green. To not lock-up as bad (which damages the tires) reduce your brake bias in the garage. You have the A/I set way too high. 100-102 is a good A/I setting. Adding tape loosens the car, BTW. You can't drive backwards/in reverse for very long. You will get DQ'ed, which even if you were racing online and able to use the hotkey commands to clear black flags, a DQ isn't not clearable.

good video friend, Nascar Racing is an incredible simulator, a question what graphics card do you have? I have an RTX 4080 but I have everything on high in the new mod that you are playing but my fps are low, you don't know why that is?

Ironic enough the one time Kyle Busch had the best car during speedweeks back in 2009 but he got wrecked out halfway after leading 90 laps cuz Jr got salty and spun Vickers in front of the field

With A/I, yes. With real drivers, it's a fucking blast. Especially at RTG when the field is literally 39 cars every Thursday.

Did you have to work on the track.ini speed cuz every time I play super speedway races we go like 220 mph
the default top speed that the game has when you install it is around 192-197mph at Daytona and Talledega. Rev limited to 7000rpms. In the Track ini, if you change the chassis type to 5 instead of 1 (1 = superspeedway with restrictor plate, 5 = superspeedway without restrictive plate). the cars will go around 250mph and it will not be raceable even if you mess with the track grip. If you want to run a realistic fun race i recommend leaving it how it originally is, that is with other changes like lowering the bunching distance, drafting distance, panic decel, dlongpadscale, dlatpad.
To make pit stop changes you just use the Function keys, arrows and the spacebar. That's it.
I love how cringy watching you solve the basic NR2003 problems is. It's like watching myself from 5 years ago lol

Are you on PC or A gaming console?
You can use the same commands as iRacing if you do a Multiplayer Race and add AI to the multiplayer session. Nobody would be able to join you unless it's LAN.
A DQ is not clearable. Only black flags are.
Radman I'd love to see Chase win it, however I have a gut feeling Kyle Busch wins it. He has won everything but the 500 with Gibbs and if he wins it with RCR That's a big middle finger to the Gibbs Team
Top 10 drivers who I think that have a huge chance on the 500:
1. Denny Hamlin reason why I chose him Is because he knows his ways to get one when it’s a super speedway he’s the guy
2. Martin truex jr he’s been there and I think that he can do it if there’s no spinning Tyler reddicks
3. Wet willie he has a lot of potential to get it done
4. Joey lagono he’s clearly a good racer on super speedways you gotta admit
5. Ryan blany first he almost killed Newman and second he got betrayed by Austin spindric, will the bad luck continue good question because I don’t even know.
6. Kyle Busch my favourite driver I didn’t put him on this list cause I like him I put him on here because he has a lot of potential I think that he can get it done and make jgr a shame of themselves for getting rid of the modern day dale sr.
7. Bubba he was sooo close but I think that if he makes smart calls he might be there
8. Brad if he can’t pass them all why not wrecking them all cause that’s his only way of winning it.
9. Chase brisco he could get there if he has the talents to do it and to get it done in the 500
10. Chase Elliott and how here’s one word favouritism. Jk but who’s in the real #10 spot is wrecky spinhouse he could do it at the 500 but his best bet is not to get double teamed.

I think kevin harvick has a chance he always runs good it's just what happens at the end but it's just I don't understand why people pick other drivers but not look how good he does yeah maybe he hasn't won a super speedway race since talladega of 2010 and when the clash was at daytona and the duel but I know he is a good super speedway racer
Since going to SHR he's never had any teammates to help. There's been a few races where he was in position in the closing laps but no teammates to be found to help push and stay with him when he makes the move to win.

There were a lot of mechanical failures in the era, hence the game has a lot.
That can be adjusted in the core.ini.

The way you’re showcasing this game isnt doing it any justice. You hop on with a controller and without spending the necessary time to learn the ins an outs of the game then proceed to put together random videos which end with you crashing and making a joke of the race. You need to get a real series going emulating a specific season or just throw together your dream schedule using your fav mod and choose from the hundreds of tracks nr2003 has available. You’re not going to get the views you’re looking for by doing it this way.
He never does think too much about what he puts out, he is the worst promoter of Nascar gaming on youtube.
