Thanks for the comment! The cleaning was great, actually. No debris on any of the dishes! I just happened to be going out of town the evening I filmed this so I wasn’t able to unload the dishwasher until today 🤣.

Just ran another load yesterday and have to run it again because the silverware were still dirty. However I didn’t use any rinse aid, so this may be why. 🤷🏽‍♀️🙂

@@lilyschweitzer6629 I am curious about this too, my dishes did not really dry at all. I am wondering if it is because I did not use any rinse-aid.

Well done! This was way more information than any big box store provided. My last Whirlpool lasted 25 years and I've ordered the reviewed model. Thanks again.. Bob

Does the dishwasher have a light to indicate if the dishwasher is running/clean?

Hi! I feel so dumb having to ask but I just got a new Whirlpool dw yesterday is. This one has a selection panel on the inside top instead of the outside. What do you choose for just a regular wash and what do you choose for a heated dry ? Mine is a little in the appearance but the first time I ran it there was condensation on the inside of the door. I’ve called Whirlpool and I gave up. I’m still trying to call the installer but saw you on YT and thought I’d ask! Thanks so much!

How do you just plain old STOP the dishwasher if you want?

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. We have a habit of forgetting a mug or spoon and need to add it after the cycle starts. I love the look of this dw, but if you can't interrupt a (very long) cycle, I may have to go with front controls

You open it and then you hold down the start button and it will drain.
if you do not want it to drain, when it is counting down to drain you push the start button and hold it and it will say cycle canceled but when you start it up again is when it will drain.

Don't rinse dishes it's bad for dishes and the unit itself .
Just scrap and use your options ..like hi temp with the sensor or normal cycles. This will give a much better clean. Rinsing is a bad habit the machine is designed to clean DIRTY DISHES NOT CLEAN DISHES . 1 it will attack your racks and make your dishes opaque or frosted after two many washings.2. There's a lot of activity in the spray arms it's a process it will pre rinse and soften foods and soils before the main wash. 3. Saves time energy you can he doing other things . 4. Saves up to 6000 gallons a year ..not only savesoney for trips and other activities but is good on the environment. 5 loading correctly or laying tuff food dishes gives better cleaning . Finish Quantum tablets out performs Cascade in my studies. I'm sure it might say 3 hours but if using sensor cycle it will reduce the time tremendously. Do a real nasty greasy load use hi temp wash with sanitary and an intense cycle . And be amazed at the results with out pre rinsing . A good spatula should always be at the side of your sink. This helps stopping rinsing . Make sure you wash the filter each time for optimum results. With a tooth brush. Or preferred small brush for the micro mesh filter. Hope this is inspiring from a person who studies dishwashers. 😎

It is generally a good machine but the Whirlpool logo in front is Hideous. I would rather have the KitchenAid version just for that reason.
