I personally do not do bobbin lace but I do find the process so satisfying from an ASMR standpoint and your voice is so pleasant! The patterns are beautiful, too!

Thank you so much! I’ve started ‘No Talking Tuesdays’ where I make lace live just for the sounds. 😄 And I will be going live more working on projects & chit chatting too. I hope you can join us sometime!

I'm a beginner at bobbin lace and fell in love with your pattern at first sight so i just had to buy the pattern! I followed the video here and it turned out beautiful!! I've started a second one and have several requests to make them......yes i have given credit where credit is due and have told everyone that you were the designer. I hope you have more videos on here as I'm not a TikTok user and i can't wait to see what other patterns you design!

It sounded like the microphone was pointed at the bobbins, not your mouth. Loved the design! Will go buy it. Wonderful.

So glad you've posted on youtube. Sorry it was blurry. I followed along and was mostly successful with my first bobbin lace project! (I noticed at the end that I messed up the fourth cathedral spider. I think it's a regular spider?) But I don't want to tear it all out because otherwise I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Thank you!

I've just gotten the patterns and read them thru but I can't find the thread size that you used😢. Could you please tell me what your thread size is. I've not done any lacing for a while due to family circumstances and I like to start again. On your video you are soft spoken and I can just barley understand what your saying. Kind of hard for the hearing impaired. So if you did say the thread size I didn't hear it. Spiders are my all time favorite stitch to do😊.

      I use a variety of weights! 😊 20, 30, 40. I think I’m using 20 weight in this example. 😁

You are very skilled and you have a lot to offer beginners. I would like to make 4 constructive comments:
    1) speak louder and clearly. I find my mind wandering as your voice drifts softer and softer. I sometimes get the impression you are talking to yourself rather than teaching your audience...
    2) I would benefit from you working more slowly so that I can actually follow your steps as you are saying what the steps are.
    3) I think if the camera could do more closeups of the actual steps you are taking it would be more helpful.
    4) long periods of silence with specific movements that are too rapid to track/follow are not helpful to me.
Having said this, I enjoy your work and hope to follow you more closely as your teaching style evolves.
