If I voted for Mr AKD with "x" on my one and only choice, then it would be defeated by someone's second choice because the winner didn't get more than 50%. The winner is who has the majority, and he couldn't be defeated by someone's second choice. It is almost impossible to get someone more than 50% voted from 38 candidates. You have to decide for one of the candidates, and that's it. The one and only voted "x" is not equal to someone's second choice, or third choice and so forth preferences. Therefore, that first choice couldn't be defeated by someone's second or third preferences. Do you understand that?
It's the responsibility of the party to have people stationed until the counting stops. These people are not used to loosing. These people are bad loosers.
