- We found this Honda S2000 on eBay and it looked to be right up our alley! The ad stated that the car has a current transmission issue and will need to be replaced. Luckily, s2000s are one of the cars that we have a large amount of inventory of parts.
This s2000 does have salvage history with a previous accident on its record. We plan to inspect it’s over all condition and repair the transmission damage. Hopefully this car will stack up to be a quick flip with a little bit of fun in mean time. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

I’m saving any S2000 that’s not wrecked beyond repair. If this showed up at my shop I’m fixing it & keeping it myself it’ll join my other S2000 and my step brother & sis in 🇯🇵 can get parts for cheap. Ooh & thank you for saving this S2000 😊😊😊

@@scraplifegarage True you guys scored with this one the ones I find at auction are pretty much parts cars. I was lucky to score one more S2000 for myself during the hurricane 🌀 season last year it was a flooded one stripped it out cleaned it up engine was good and started right up & it runs like nothing happened to it. Fresh water damage very little water on the carpet 😊😊

An easy way to get a lowered car high enough for the hoist arms to go under is to drive onto 4 blocks of 2-by-4.

Modify the engine but keep the transmission stock, genuis my guy. Probably blew out the synchros.
This one felt like it completely shredded the gear. Would go into 3rd, but nothing there. We have broken s2000 trans before and a gear can turn into a brick wall trying to go in. They are notoriously weak transmissions when power is added.
@@scraplifegarage nah they are weak with even stock power. I blew 2nd gear out in my ap1. Drive train is made of complete glass 😭
My old turbo s2k used to kick me out of boost if I matted it from a higher rpm like this one. If I went from lower rpm or using the full gear it acted fine. Never figured out why. Ended up selling after I lost interest in it

It’s got a couple other issues. I think the wastegate is fine

@@scraplifegarage It is a cool car, I just can’t get through the horrible exhaust note. If it had an extremely quiet exhaust I’d be onboard for sure. The only good 4 & 6 Cyl cars are the quiet ones. Loud vehicles like this pierce my head like nails down a chalkboard unfortunately. Hoping to make the world a better place by making it a bit more peaceful. 👍🏼✌🏼

I can’t watch this channel anymore. Every time I actually get interested in a build it seems to get dropped. Not interested in seeing a new car every video, stick to a build, complete it and move on.
We haven’t dropped anymore builds? Just waiting on parts for a bunch lol. Gotta keep the wheels turning for the business. That means buying plenty of cars!
