I really do enjoy this content. I have a ssqv for my S2k. Then found a super cheap comptech Sc set. So its not becing used saddly. But WOW your channel is growing insanely fast. These videos are the coolest. I tried messing around with my first car but ended up crashing it. For the longest time I thought automotive stuff just wasn’t for me, but after seeing these awesome builds (on the bus ironically), I want to get into cars and learn all there is to know!! Thank you for uploading. I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the series, and maybe even trying to make my own video. :)
Hell yeah. Maybe even with some black stripes. With some very thin gold to outline the black. But for sure dark or even a midnight purple would be sick on that car.

me crying since my '03 picked up in July 2021 was 29k out the door for just the car. 44k miles, 1 previous owner, thing looks almost brand new inside and out but still... Maybe I'll try to pick up a more beat-up shell to build like this instead of butchering up the clean one.

Looking forward to seeing this thing doing some time attack, s2k should be pretty sweet, hard part will be putting that power down, especially in something that small and light, my stock ZL1 had no problem lighting up 315's in 3rd gear and that s2k is probably about the same power to wt ratio with a much smaller wheelbase and track width, definitely try and get something meaty on it with a good LSD, 275's at least imo, and some aero/downforce if you plan to do any high speed stuff, back end on that zl1 felt un-nervingly light at high speed compared to other cars I've taken to similar speeds, but maybe that was due to them being AWD rather than differences in aero, who knows. Some day I hope to actually get around to putting my Talon back together and finally starting to track the car I chose to be my track car, especially now that I'm back in a fairly vanilla dd...

Cars are easily one of the most expensive hobbies, especially any time you're paying someone else to do the work, and even more so when you're paying for quality work...Gotta pay to play...First 20 seconds, every time I think about my body and paint bill that is now 3x what I paid for the car and what I originally expected to spend on body and paint. At least it looks killer and like it has the money into it that it does, body and paint are better than when it left the factory....and these days in the condition I bought it in it'd be worth twice what I paid...Still though....In any case, now that I'm this deep into the car the money that was going to go towards a c7 zo6 or something along those lines is going to go into building this 3000gt, it has officially claimed status as the pit into which I throw all of my money....
Being an enthusiasts is expensive 🥲 currently have my whole front end apart and you always find more and more things to fix. At this point it's almost a $40k (cad) project.
