    Hmmm... Mu needs a break from World of Warcraft. Honestly, just quit playing with people that you don't enjoy playing with. If you think that most people are a problem in that guild, find those that aren't so you can be happier doing your PVE. But yeah, literally every guild out there is like 7-9 good players. 5 mediocre. And then there's the 15 odd burlap sacs filled with fucking frozen Orc feces that you break your backs carrying past dungeons time, and time, again. If the boss was an actual conscience breathing person, he'd probably die just to sympathize with the 9 try-hards and the 15 odd knuckle heads after the 30 bloody wipes.

    Calling the dude out on stream is just such a scummy thing to do if what Mu was whispering to Asmongold was true. Of course the dude is a total douchebag, but don't call it out to thousands of people. It's so immature on both sides.

  • @Warrior_Culture
    @Warrior_Culture 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    I have to respectfully disagree with "people who have problems are problems". In fact, in all of your videos, it's probably one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard you say, that you were being serious about.
    Everyone has problems. Many people have problems that they didn't cause and had no say in. Life is not so fair and simple that you only get stuck with the problems you deserve or brought on yourself. This is in NO way a defense for the toxic player in this video, this is specifically a response to the statement you made and that statement alone.

    • @MrFiendinpotter
      @MrFiendinpotter 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Does it matter if you made the problems for yourself or not?
      If you act a certain way because of problems in your life that creates problems then you are the problem because like you say Everyone has problems but not everyone creates problems

    • @Warrior_Culture
      @Warrior_Culture 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrFiendinpotter You don't get to change what he said to make it sound better. He said, and I quote, "People who have problems are problems." So you can play the lawyer and come in to say "well if you act a certain way" and all these other assumptions about what you THINK he meant, but he said what he said. And what he said was ignorant and false.

    • @MrFiendinpotter
      @MrFiendinpotter 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Warrior_Culture I didn't change what he said. Your response to his statement was that it's wrong because everyone has problems and people end up with problems through no cause of their own. This is sadly a true fact. but does your response and what he is talking about actually line up? Did he blame the guy for creating his own problems?
      "People who have problems are problems" is definitely a blanket statement, which is bad, worse as well, it's a harsh statement, but if you are wanting him to acknowledge the greater context in that statement then shouldn't you also acknowledge the greater context of what's going on here. In a guild if one person has a problem with everyone else that makes that person a problem for the guild. Is it only on Asmongold to think about the context of everything said?

    • @Warrior_Culture
      @Warrior_Culture 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrFiendinpotter No, you are inserting your own context. If he had said something along the lines of everything you keep creating FOR him, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. But as usual, he tried to come up with some general philosophical blanket statement to sound wise, and the statement is wrong. "People who have problems are problems" is not true, excepting specific situations/circumstances.
      If he doesn't want that statement taken in any other context other than talking about a guild or a person causing trouble, he should have specified. It would have taken no trouble at all to say "people who have problems with a guild, are problems" or something to that affect. So I get what you're saying, but if you are a regular viewer then you too should know exactly what I'm talking about when I point out his stupid grand statements of "wisdom" he likes to pull out of his ass, that don't always work.

    • @MrFiendinpotter
      @MrFiendinpotter 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Warrior_Culture I agree with you that it is a provocative, almost edgy statement, very much in that vein of 'almost wise' that sticks in your mind becomes it sounds clean.
      People don't qualify everything they say with context though, I don't, and I imagine you don't either. It would be easy to add abit more context to that statement like you said but we are looking at it on a highlight vlog so it's easy to point that out, but it's less easy to constantly qualify everything you say for a full stream everyday.
      I don't think I inserted that context, the whole video is about someone with a problem with everyone.
      I want to say I understand your point and feeling and I do agree with it, half thought out blanket statements are really exhausting. I responded because I felt that in your first comment your justification didn't line up with your problem, someone can be a problem because they had problems regardless of how they got those problems.
      Hashing out abit of nuance isn't something that happens much on yt comments so was nice to do it haha

    I had the reverse problem with a discord server. I was feeling like I was being punished for behaving in an acceptable way, while a lot of other people were being toxic and disrespectful yet were getting away with it. Later I found a wiki where the founders claimed they were proud of the dumpster fire they set up and kept running. I decided unilaterally it wasn't worth to try reasoning with them, and I left.

    I gotta say, I really like how you run your guild. When I did play WoW, the in-group of most guilds were like high school cliques. The burden of proof was always on everyone but them, people who rightly called them out or talked bad about the guild’s top ppl were kicked and had lies spread about them. I was in a few guilds over time, only one of them was good, most were just a bunch of bratty guys who had massive egos and would go on huge power trips. The one really solid guild I was mostly populated by max lvl full kit people who played exclusively for fun so raids were never super high stress and the focus was on getting the least powerful guild members what they need. It was super cool, it was also a lot of gay guys and women, me and my friend were one of like 10 straight guys in the whole guild, so bullying and toxicity wasn’t much of a problem as most of them were themselves tired of toxicity online. Super cool guild, raided with them till I fell off the game.
