I saw the great Lyrnyd Skynyrd at Little Rock, AR back in April 2024 & they brought down the house/arena !!! I hope they come back around central AR again very soon. My wife & I agree that we would gladly pay to see them again. Love Skynyrd Nation.
Dude...There can only be ONE original. Johnny replaced Ronnie, so he is not an original. Get a grip. This is a tribute band with the rights to the Lynyrd Skynyrd name. Pure and simple.
Love this and bored with all the derogatory tribute comments . Saw them 2019 and fantastic . And have enjoyed Skynyrd since second helping came out which was my introduction to them way back when …Love the Skynyrd family which these truly are part of for sure ❤❤❤
Just so everybody knows how much time these current members have in Lynyrd Skynyrd. Johnny Van Zant: 37 years. Rickey Medlocke: 29 years. Michael Cartellone: 25 years. Peter Keys: 15 years. How many studio albums they have made with Skynyrd: Johnny: 9 Rickey: 7 (including First & Last) Michael: 4 Peter: 1 God damn, especially with Johnny and Rickey, isn’t it time to consider them real members, people? It certainly isn’t the same band as it was, but you can’t say that they didn’t put in the time and work.
@@RtroyD No, not any songs close as popular as the pre-crash lineup. But their albums, especially the last three did decent on the charts. Billboard 200 Vicious Cycle: #30 God & Guns: #18 Last Of A Dyin Breed: #14
@@RtroyDThat’s really not the point! The point is they are carrying on the legendary bands popularity and memory through their songs! Just look at the tens of thousands of young country music fans at the annual CMAFest! They love this band and their performances! Do I wish it was the original band? You better believe I do! I was a senior in high school when the news came on TV a it tore a hole in my heart that has never left. The next day in school was a very somber experience on campus. We all loved Southern rock and it hurt losing them! I get teary eyed every time I watch documentaries on the band and the crash. The pain will never leave us but it brings joy to my heart seeing young people like this enjoy their performance. They will never get to see what we saw in the 1970’s!
*Unfortunately none of the original members left, but good that they're keeping the Bands name and music alive* 🎸 Anyone new to their music, I would recommend 'Call Me The Breeze' & 'Tuesday's Gone' 🎶 🙏
That's Hughie from the old Outlaws on lead stage left. Last Man Standing. He still plays the high fast part of "Freebird" not many can match that. "Green Grass and High Tides" was his.
My brain would like to know some random stats in life... Like, how many times did they play this song in their lifetime? 300 times a year for 50 years? Ish?
You may not like these posers, however the torch has been passed. I’ve seen Gary play 3X. Small club in TX, he was so coked up he refused to make eye contact with the audience. We are at an age where the living legends are gone. Music is an art form than can be transcended. I saw locally Iron Butterfly, same deal. I had a good time. Do we not see the Mets play because the team isn’t 1986?
This ant cover band yes lead singer and one singer there still regular band members in band they just hearing singer to re place regular.so stop disrespectful to this band.stoo cry go home know one have time for you
This is the real lynyrd skynyrd! Johnny and crew have been responsible and respectful to keep the dream of Ronnie's alive! I didn't get turned on to them until the mid 90s and have seen them 20ish times. Spot on perfect every night every time! It's keeping the music alive! They pay tribute to the passed band members every show! This group has more years playing than their original counterparts. They have made new music also. Love the God and guns song. Ricky plays his ass off every single show! And remember ... opinions are like assholes...everyone has one. Still selling out shows with ZZ Top on the Simple Sharp dressed man tour! Skynyrd nation is alive and well!
Stop living off the Skynyrd name. You are a cover band...that's all. It's disrespectful to Ronnie, Allen, Artimus, Gary, Steve, Billy, Leon, and the Honkettes. They would not play CMA.. Why are you with their song?
I agree I saw original band in 1977 I have never and will never see this band after Ronnie Cassie and Steve were killed not the same loved Rossington Collins too
@@cindysurgeon7936 I remember on some tv special, someone who knew Ronnie had said that he'd mentioned that one day he was gonna step back from touring, etc. and that his borther Johnny would be up there singing, and Ronnie would be the songwriter for the band.
This is not the real Skynyrd - Ronnie Van Zant was the lead singer for all the songs the fake Skynyrd sings today - shame on you Johnny not giving Ronnie the credit he is due every single time you make money at concerts- Southerns don't need you around - you can't sing - nobody wants to hear you sing over Ronnie - that is why we never here you singing Skynyrd songs on the radio - it's always Ronnie singing the songs that you have hijacked with your cover band with not one original member.
I'm allowed to defend the real Skynyrd out of respect just like you want to defend Johnny who doesn't give Ronnie or band members any credit -stop trolling
Lynyrd Skynyrd in name only. And they can't hold a candle to the real Lynyrd Skynyrd. I don't understand why people spend good money to see this cover band.

WHY WASN'T THERE ANY CONTRIBUTIONS FOR POOR TOBY KEITH IS MY BIGGEST QUESTION????? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
disrespect is all I can think of!
Toby made it perfectly clear over the years that he did not care for how the industry was run and that ESPECIALLY includes the CMA 😂
Pat, are you at this concert 😊
These guys look like a senior cover band in The Villages, FL
