@@iliagerliani6815Same, we need to remember that the symbiote doesn't made the host evil only ehcnahnce all his feelings good or bad. It only made him evil of it feel treathen or feels like it's user is treathen. That's the reason why Harry wasn't evil at first since he mostly had positive thoughts but once bond with Peter. It became more menacing thanks to Kraven, Peter's guilt for the dead of May and others factors made Peter loose himself. Also Doctor Connors didn't help something tell me he is the real villain here.

Harry transformed the second he got it back
"Guess your boss needs better aim" Peter literally woke up and chose violence INSTANTLY after having th black suit. This game is truly a masterpiece at depicting the Symbiote on Peter.

Nothing can beat going into that symbiote rage for the first time; controller buzzing, the pure unbridled power and fury, the combos, the controller and speakers roaring and grumbling as the symbiote comes to life. Pure adrenaline rush and a legendary scene.

what I don’t get is how kraven can hold his own against these spider men and a symbiote. I mean I’m not too familiar with Kraven, but I thought he was a human who just trained his whole life to be an excellent fighter. Kinda like Batman, but from what I’ve seen in this game he’s more like Deathstroke who is enhanced. Either way Kraven is a really good villain and actually made me kinda exited to see the Kraven movie with Aaron Taylor Johnson plus it’s rated r like how Venom shoulda been.

@@luisz222as others have said you can find a table with potions in the game that peter theorizes gives Kraven his super strength. What that is exactly is never explained tho
If you’ve read Kraven’s Last Hunt, Peter was also killed by Kraven (with a poisonous blade. Except Peter woke up two weeks later). And I’m surprised nobody’s bringing up how freaking EPIC the black suit gameplay is, as well as how good Yuri Lowenthal is with it (like when he gets aggressive/angry and screams in agony with the symbiote’s sound weakness)

Have to say, from this point up until the end of the Kraven fight was my favorite part of the entire game. This middle arc felt so good. I kinda wish we had a little more build up to Peter getting the suit off. But still absolutely incredible none the less.

Fun Fact: The suit didn’t go on Harry’s Will, it went on into own accord to Peter, as he had powers it could use aswell as its own, so he wanted to use that. (It’s an interesting thought.)

I think it didn’t want to go back to Harry because deep down Peter didn’t want to give up the power of it. It doesn’t corrupt him it only shows what he really is thinking as it connects to him more like when MJ becomes screams and says those things about Peter it wasn’t the thing making stuff up it was using what she really feels on the inside

Peter can never keep the symbiote because the power of it always goes to his head, and of course the symbiote wants to hold onto Peter like no one else. The power of Spider-man. It’s like an addiction/toxic relationship metaphor both ways. The symbiote always wants Peter back at its core, but will act like an ex betrayed if it cannot have him. Harry seemed to have a good hold on it until this moment. Perhaps he could have had a positive relationship with it otherwise. But well Venom happened, but even through all that Venom still wants Peter to be with them. I never thought I’d have liked a Harry Venom over Eddie Venom…but the deep personal connection Harry has to Peter works perfectly for Venom, especially that neither of them can let Peter go.
@@theredeft5319I like this version of Venom more, too. It’s easy to have conflict when one party hates the other. But when both parties love each other despite their conflicting beliefs, it’s way more interesting.
This game is the closest to web of shadows in terms of the feeling of dominance and power when playing as symbiote consumed peter
Peter became the literal embodiment and living definition of “I’M HIM.”
I wonder was it Harrys’s desire to save Peter that motivated the symbiote to go to him, or was it taking the opportunity to go to a stronger host? It touched Peter earlier, perhaps it wanted his power and well Harry has an incurable disease that’s killing him so perhaps it saw it’s chance to get a healthy body.
The symbiote suit isn't inherently evil. Even in the comics. The symbiote becomes whatever it's wearer is. So if the wearer is an evil POS then it will enhance that. Though it does make the wearer more violent unless and until they become more awuainted
It’s just so clingy to Peter because Peter is so powerful it doesn’t want to let him go, and likewise Peter also goes on a power trip. Harry might have been able to keep a good thing going if he hadn’t been hanging out with Peter and the symbiote jumping ship.
It's clear, that these days, you can't please people anymore. People hate on everything these days. What is wrong about that this game took some inspiration from web of shadows? Absolute nothing. Insomniac went with their own story and in my opinion a way better story than web of shadows.
This game is masterpiece on every level. Thank you Insomniac for the hard work! I can't wait to play it myself.

Not everyone is gonna like this game though, some will think its ok, some bad, some will think its a pile of shit, some will think its the best game ever, cant satisfy everyone, I think its a great game though.

Well I did watch the post credit scene and apparently they're planning on making a third game so it's probably going to have silk Eddie Brock and Green Goblin in it and hopefully Carnage who knows
I didn't think they set up Eddie Brock, but they did set up Carnage. Eddie doesn't have much of a place in the story with Venom dead. So far, the only symbiote we know survived was Carnage. I do wish Scream and Venom's other 4 kids had more screen time/screen time at all

The biggest set up was Green Goblin. But the endboss and plot of this game is definitely going to be the Superior Spider-Man. It's been teased from the first game and with that final scene of Otto you can bet on it.
I just hope they don’t make Harry Green goblin or hobgoblin. He had enough trauma being Venom. Unless somehow he stays a good guy? I’m disappointed they killed Venom, but maybe they could say he has a piece of Venom still alive in him like Peter did.

One of the most satisfying moments in all of gaming. What makes it even better for me is that I was high during this part of the game when you get the suit. Shit was so crazy
I was so hyped, jumping and screaming so hard in this part that i dropped my controller by accident lol. Luckily nothing bad happened to it.
But for real though, this is the best symbiote portrayal i have ever seen in video games, 2nd place is Web of Shadows. Im playing on Spectacular difficulty and it's fking unreal how fast and easy it is for me to brute force through the hundreds of hunters with the symbiote, that thing is OP af lmao, and that's exactly why i love it, it's what black-suited Spider-Man should look like.
Edit: Oh and notice how Harry was kicking Kraven's ass in the background too, right before he give the suit to Peter. A guy with no fighting experience like Harry is bullying Kraven with zero efforts just show how fking broken this version of symbiote really is xD.

@PLYTATN I'm not a know it all on the topic by any means but I know I decent amount on them. Toxin is the strongest. The offspring is always stronger than the parent, venom is actually the weakest out of all the symbiotes.

Im glad you made a video of it but you barely took advantage of the venom mode doing dodge kicks and using abilities instead. This scene was epic with the insta downs the venom mode gives when i played it.
Someone said you can hear Peter say “help me” when you first trigger the symbiote surge. Didn’t peep it my first run through. I think he says through the controller.
Peter getting the symbiote, activates symbiote surge for the first time while annihilating every last of the hunters, and no background music is beyond bad ass and terrifying at the same time 👍👍💯💯🔥🔥

I really wish they adjusted every suit for cutscenes so you don’t switch from whatever suit you are using to the default it sucks cause for me it incentivizes me to use the default suit on first run at all times for story sakes

They heavly nerfed peter. In spiderman 1 he took the sinister 6 at once and got a poisinous bite from scorpions tail. He still woke up and defeated the sinister 6 in 2 days with 16 broken bones. He 2 v 1 them instead of taking the sinister 6 1 on 1. He was heavle nerfed in this game.
