    Thank you for this, we need it in times where we can't climb! These granite towers are the stuff of dreams and the video editing quality is amazing--as usual!

    Beautiful climb, beautiful adventure! I first learned of this climb almost 40 years ago but the Gods did not allow me to do it. Anyway, I don’t give up and still waiting for the right opportunity!

    Mark, your videos are amazing!
    I really enjoyed watching some of your La Folia series on Quebec climbing. Awesome to see a local crusher going on these crazy adventures! I hope one day I'll have the skills to climb the Lotus Flower Tower. Keep it up with this awesome content!
    Sincerely,
    A Montreal climber

    Awesome video Mark. How did you guys get there and back seeing how remote it is, and what time of year did you go? This is a long-term dream of mine.

      We flew in and out via Kluane airways, a small charter company that flies float planes out of rural Yukon to the cirque. It looks like they're still in business, and the pilot, Warren, is quite a character and good story teller. We were climbing in August. Hope your dream materializes!

    Great video! I have a question, did you have to abandon gear apart from cordelette to do the rapels? Or there were some rappel instalations?

    • @markdavidsonjewell
      @markdavidsonjewell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks a lot! It's a fairly popular route, so the rappel stations are in pretty good shape (collection of bolts, pins and fixed pieces). Of course the webbing needs to be changed often due to exposure. I think we left a few metres of webbing and a carabiner or two, that's it.
