Ive been suffering for more than 15 years with several problems, stomach, blood pressure, joint, muscle pain, unexplained tachycardia recently incontinence, severe panic disorder and depression because I could feel something was not right. I cant count the amount of times i heard from doctors ‘you are a special case” as I can’t understand why this is happening, disregarding. I felt hypochondriac, desperate and to be honest, after a huge crisis last year, suicidal as I couldn’t imagine rest of my life living as such. I’ve been seeing so many doctors and no one connected the dots. I connected them after seeing a you tube video and verifying that the tricks with hands and knees, maybe there was more to it than simple tricks.

I want to take a moment here and appreciate the time and effort put in by the professor in making this presentation interactive, engaging, and funny at the same time.

Hypermobility it was big advance in sports when I was younger. And it was fun! But it all changed since I hit 45! And is not fun anymore, everything hurts!

Amen. I was great at basketball. I'm still good at shooting, especially off-handed.

It really isn’t fun when your hands swell up after writing 5 sentences and go numb and tingly, so you’ll probably fail exams because you write 10 times slower than everyone else

Why am I thinking that my doctor does not care? I have nearly all the symptoms... She never did anything, just saying oh its your anxiety.

That's all I get from go's too.I had to keep on at them for ten years after my sister died of a connect tissue disorder to send me to rheumatologist clinic to be seen .I also get robbed off with fibromyalgia then it was MUS medically unexplained symptoms...before they eventually MRI scanned me to prove it wasn't in my head the back pain I had was protruding disc pain and arthritis ..in think they are ignorant to the fact we actually suffer a lot of pain and fatigue.
