My sincere condolences... I'm lucky enough that my dad is still with us, but I share the same memories. It was long car rides with my dad driving and listening to Mike Oldfield's music. Hopefully I will one day do the same for my kids.
If I could go to a concert and listen to both Mike Oldfield and Mark Knopfler, my life would be seriously okay. If Pepsi Demacque would join in and sing at the same concert, then there would really not be anything else to wish for anymore in my life.
It's a good thought but Mike Oldfield never uses blues scales as repetition in his music. Mark Knopfler is more or less a talented blues guitarist. Mike Oldfield has rarely, if ever, relied on the standard rock-blues scale for a guitar solo or writing. Takes more depth and talent. Mark isn't bad though, just a tad-bit overrated.

For everyone who didn't notice: At 0:34 you can see the stage-lights cut off. Not sure if it was to prevent any water damage due to the rain, or if there were technical problems caused by the rain itself. This was even mentioned in an interview after the concert. And this shows how incredible professional the musicians are. No hectic movements, no yelling. Show must go on. And it did. Even though i'm not a huge fan of TBIII (I love TB2 more), i wish i was there at the concert and hope there will be a TBIV anytime soon.
