That is one thing I feel many cultures of food share. Southern US, Korean, Italian, Latino, African, South East Asian, MIddle Eastern.... Its like everyones shouting "Oh you gotta try this!" and backslapping and just loving each others company and the delicious food. Eating and drinking together is just the best.
Yeah that was one of my favorite parts. Get a chair, sit with us, enjoy with us. That’s the spirit of gratitude you love to see and it feels like Josh and Ollie (miss you!) live that philosophy. Z seems so genuinely happy in these videos that it makes ME happy. Crazy good series.
In essence they treat each other more than just friends and colleagues, but family - and family eating together is one of the best events of every person's life that many often take for granted.

Korean and Italian cultures are both very family oriented and food centred. Both cultures are humble cuisines that appreciate quality ingredients. I'm really enjoying this series that gives us a window into Korean culinary tradition and excellence. Chef Z is a perfect fit for this journey!

I still cannot get over how the soy sauce is 130+ years old. That soy sauce has outlived every one of us here - such an amazing and humbling thing to see. This is definitely one of my favorite videos of the series!

Mr. Z, Josh and the crew deserve this trip. As a American I had no idea the depth of korean food prior to finding KE a few years back. Now I have been wanting to go there for the last few years! I love how Josh is trying to give Mr. Z the Korean recreation of their trip to Italy. I'm SUPER jealous of the meals and flavor pairings they get to try. Man, 130-year-old soy sauce is incredible. I bet there are a lot of interesting stories about how they preserved that soy sauce.
This is insane. This is how food should be. Absolutely no pretense to it, but grown and made with so much care and love. Those dishes had to be incredibly labor intense. These guys are doing God’s work. And I’m thrilled to be able to experience it (kind of) through Josh and Z. Food trip of many, many lifetimes for sure…❤❤❤❤❤

I'm just amazed by the dedication that all of this took. 13 year old kimchi and 11 year old ginseng alcohol. That already takes a lot of work. A 130 year old soy sauce....this soy sauce has survived through multiple wars and been cared for by many generations. This soy sauce has lived through 3 different centuries. Its crazy to think that they're tasting something that was started so long ago. I hope it'll all still be going strong in many many years! This is probably my favorite episode at this point :)

Absolutely loving this series with Mr Z. I've been privileged to have eaten a wide variety of global cuisine so the reactions i see from guests are sometimes a bit over the top for stuff that I'm sure is delicious but not as mind blowing as they make it out to be. With Z you can tell he really understands the food and he absolutely has the background to be able to say something is truly magnificent.
This video and their meal was truly astounding and inspiring. You guys should have a separate channel where you show more of the footage that wasn't used, and include some interviews
i think what makes watching 영국 남자 so interesting is seeing the obvious consideration and time that goes into finding places that match the interests and personalities of the individual people that they bring to Korea. Korea truly has something that everyone can love, and being able to identify what one person would enjoy and take them to experience it is a beautiful talent

It's wonderful to see Josh transported to another realm for a few seconds after the full flavor hits him. I sure hope the rest of the crew gets more than just a nibble when it's all done. Mr. Z is a pure joy to watch on this series. His appreciation for not just the food but the way it's prepared too is just wonderful.
Mr Z has a such a deep love and passion for food!! As someone who works in a 2 Michelin started restaurant it’s so contagious!!
I absolutely love seeing you explore korean food with a chef, other people can love the food but seeing s chef fully appreciate everything behind the food the flavor profiles the techniques the history its amazing.

Absolutely loving this series with Mr Z. I've been privileged to have eaten a wide variety of global cuisine so the reactions i see from guests are sometimes a bit over the top for stuff that I'm sure is delicious but not as mind blowing as they make it out to be. With Z you can tell he really understands the food and he absolutely has the background to be able to say something is truly magnificent.
I love the respect and depth of their appreciation. Bravo!

i think what makes watching 영국 남자 so interesting is seeing the obvious consideration and time that goes into finding places that match the interests and personalities of the individual people that they bring to Korea. Korea truly has something that everyone can love, and being able to identify what one person would enjoy and take them to experience it is a beautiful talent
This series is just Tops, it is so amazing seeing all the ways you have tailored it to Mr Z; and it makes us love him all the more!!

콩국수! Honestly I never see anyone ever talk about this dish, and it's one of my favorites ever, despite me only ever having it once in my life! Oh, I would die to have some of what they had.
