Never heard of a "Bento Bag"....but this is a great idea!!! I'm going to try out a few...one for a handy stash for cosmetics in my purse (I like that you can open in up and work out of the bag itself if you aren't lucky enough to have a hygienic surface...and you can wash it!!!)....tuck a folded one in my purse as a quick shopping bag for small items...and make a larger one out of doubled fabrics for both triangles and set a teapot in the middle and tie it up for a tea cozy to keep the pot warm in the winter. So many uses...thanks for the great idea and new awareness.
Wow! This is super cool and i totally need to try it. I was thinking you could also add a zipper where the triangles overlap for the second time if you wanted a cute little pocket
OOOO another one I have to try. My makeup bag came out great! Well actually its for my sister who lives in turkey and is starting up her own Language/nursery school in september and so I made it so she could put her stationery/teachers stuff in for her desk. I made one side of it out of blue material with bright colour Owls and flowers on it and the other side was pink with the same pattern. Owls always remind me of education and as it's young children she Is teaching thought would help brighten up the room. First thing I have ever made and I am so surprised how good it has come out. :D wish I could show you a pic. Love it so much am going to have to go buy some more material and make myself one before I decide not to give it to her lol. Thanks again!! xxx
Jessica Wilson YAY! So glad you tried it Jessica :) If you look on one of my latest videos, it will have all my links to my Facebook, Google+ etc where you can post or message me a pic!
Hi, I created the original "Bento" bag in this shape, I sell to stores all over the world. The pattern that I created is completely different. I love the way you did it with two triangles. It's funny I just did that last night just playing around. My company is Ambatalia, do you know it? My best, Molly
Molly de Vries Hi Molly, thank you so much for commenting. Glad the patterns are completely different :) It's such a unique idea and people have been loving this for make-up travel storage and packed lunches. Glad to share the love of your idea around. People can feel free to purchase the finished product from your site :)
Easiest tutorial for this I've seen! Thanks!

Very good explanation...thanks from Chile!!
Such a great idea. This will work perfectly for work. After my snacks are gone, I can fold it up and put it away till it's time to go home. :)
It's a great lunch solution! Hope you give it a try :)
