TPLF will exist in name and only for short period of time! It is defeated POLITICALLY (it doesn't know what its agenda is, what it fought for), economically (all means of income dried up), militarily (it has nothing in ethiopia- and is struggling to exist as no agenda party only). So it will not only split into two but dozens and disappear shortly!
BtW It is the First biggest opposition party in Ethiopia with a media, Fund & major support base it can easily win major seats in Ethiopia if it establishes a new coalition. Ethiopia ain't an autocracy opposition parties have the right to exist. otherwise it will end up like Eripoooria.
Your analysis is very short-sighted. Parties go through changes but one as big and historical as TPLF will not go away easily. If TPLF can survive after many splits over the years, it will be around for many decades after to come. I have a feeling it is a strategy for move towards Welkait and Humera.
