things like this really makes me wish top gun would have shown what its like to actually get shot at by a SAM instead of throwing around flashy missiles that explode randomly
It's worth saying that Stroke 3 was in a Viper which is far more maneuverable and faster than a Hornet (especially with ordinance onboard). That is some of the best flying I've seen in DCS.
Loved the video. I would love a second channel with full length content of sessions like this, even if it is only just for fun training missions.

Im far from an aviation nerd of any kind, I think planes are cool, but I think most of us do to some degree. Anyway, I could notice you start going slow before the SAM's started engading. I thought to myself, this is when it happens considering your intro.

Have you tried Flying Circus yet? Nothing like dogfighting at point blank range on pure stick and rudder skills in giant furballs.
