    Thank you for this video. I have watch it from time to time. I struggle with closing my bracelets and i tend to loose my patience. I love making earrings more for that reason. I been wanting to make clay bead bracelets again. I will give it a shot. Most of my bracelets involve chain.

      Hello! I'm so glad you found it helpful! For the non-stretchy bracelets, I used a waxed cord. When I make bracelets, I usually start with about a foot of cord so I have plenty to work with!

    Tysm! Just got a bracelet making kit and I had no clue how to finish one 😭 Extremely useful! Although it ended up being too small and snapped when I tried to put it on- But now I know I need longer string

    You can also use clear nail polish if you don’t have glue to secure any knots. This video was extremely helpful thank you!

    I know I’m late but I got a clay bead kit yesterday and opened 2 upside down on accident and I made Lobit themed earrings and made a miniforce X bracelet today 1:58 this part is helpful I’m going to make a pink kiwi bracelet I’m a new subscriber 3:12 instead of pliers you can use your hands but if you think you might need pliers it’s up to you I know how to use just my hand since I don’t own pliers my kit didn’t come with any pliers(if you see my comment you don’t have to give it a like or comment you probably have 1829272273633739382 Million comments to reply to and give hearts to may God/Allah Bless you)

    How difficult is it to secure a bracelet with crimp beads & a lobster claw clasp for a beginner (aka me)? Also, can you use any kind of pliers for this?

    I tried the clasp with clamshell knot covers, and my entire bracelet broke and fell apart. The clasp and clamshell totally fell right off. Do you have any tips that could help next time?

      Oh no! So sorry to hear that - and we've been there. We always have jewelry glue on hand to make sure knots are extra secure. So you might add a dot of glue to the knots before closing the clamshell!

    What kind of string are you using in this video? The one in my kits won’t stay tied. They’re more like a stretchy fishing line.

      @The Pretty Life Girls the strings didnt slide and no glue was used idk why it didnt work bc i tried to slightly change things like which side i used 1st or over instead of under after doing exactly what u did didnt work

      Clear elastic works great with these beads because the ends don't fray. Since the clear can be slippery, we recommend using a dot of clear nail polish on the knot to keep it secure!

    For the stretch bracket basic knot u could also use a layer of clear nail polish

    No matter how I knot it, they always break when I try to wear them. I have tried different string and it’s still happening. Can someone tell me what string is being used in the video ??

      i think it's an elastic string. if it's too small for your wrist, it may break too i guess. hope this helps.

      Try double stringing the bracelet. Also use a dab of glue at the knot. I have found that the elastic string is better. DO NOT USE THE THICK OR ANY TYPE OF PLASTIC STRING!!! It will come loose EVERYTIME!!!!
