- Tatiana Fusari was questioned by police after her daughter was found dead in 2018. Police said the child, Mary Welch, was found emaciated and starved, which led to her tragic death. It sounds to me that they did not want this baby to begin with so they just starved her to death. I'm surprised the baby lived as long as she did. That crib was absolutely disgusting.

I got to hand it to these two detectives. They did a brilliant job of being not only stern but also gentle. Great detectives!
You change a babies diaper every time they wake up. You don't feed them then change them. Sometimes they also need to be changed again after eating but they are always wet when waking up and need to be changed.

I've seen this case before. Regarding going from hospital to home birth, their first baby was found to have drugs of some kind in her system at birth. This caused them to have to deal with CPS etc and the home birth wouldn't involve any such screening/tests. I dare say that's the real reason for the change.
That's generally is the case with these CA cases. They don't want "government regulation". Pfft. 🙄 Some people need regulation.
I don't believe that little baby ever had any fruit she was lucky to get breast milk and not much of that. Who does she think she is fooling?

It’s soooo disturbing when a child is denied of food. But parents are very well fed. I can’t. I cannotttt grasp it.
She was routinely leaving fresh breast milk out at room temperature for 6 hours, and often coming home to it still on the counter (baby not fed by dad), before freezing it. That could potentially be a serious bacterial problem.
For those who don’t know, a 10 month old girl should have weighed 18/19 pounds.
I totally don't get this. The parents are so detached. Their other children are somewhat happy yet CPS has been involved. CPS seems to always fail the children. They are both overweight also so they had food. My gosh. Terrible situation and the family knew something was wrong.

I had a person (what you would call a parent) just like her in the vid, would leave my sister and me to starve for 3-4 days at a time, whilst mum and stepdad was at the pub for them 3-4 days whilst we starve and dehydrate, what a piece of work they were!!, we are lucky to be alive!.

TBH, I lost my brother when I was 9 & he was 4. I don’t think the reality of it all hit me until many months/years later. I was criticized for my behavior but it was as if I was just going thru the motions of daily life because I had to. No clue what was actually going on in real time.

This is crazy my son refuses to eat one meal out of the 3 a day and I have massive anxiety. I don’t know how as mother you can’t do the bare minimum. I understand depression, I am a therapist and a mother that struggled with post partum depression BUT you do the bare minimum feeding your child is the bare minimum….

Who needs to google how not to stave your baby? We didn't have internet and cell phones when I had my 4 babies. It's (usually) instinctual to feed your babies, change them and give them daily baths. It's instinctual to keep them warm and to cuddle and play with them and talk to them......the delight when they smile and and gurgle back to us can't be underestimated.

Normally, when you breastfeed as the main source of meal, your infant will have a stool every time you have fed them, especially in the first few weeks as I breastfed and my baby boy passed a stool every time he was fed and he flourished and was a prem baby on top of it all this baby was purely neglected by all means 😢just so much cruelty to a inocent baby rip little one u did not deserve such neglect

A "growth spurt" is not marked only by extra sleeping, but extra hunger. That baby should be crying for food every hour, wet every time the diaper is checked - especially after nursing - and noisy about being wet...

I haven’t had my own children yet but I had two step kids in a past relationship. Those babies were the first to eat before anyone, even if it was the last thing we had in the whole house. Hearing that this baby was completely starved for weeks is infuriating. My boys would come up and ask for something to eat all the time even if they just ate lunch or dinner and sure enough they are getting a snack. It’s mind boggling that they just didn’t care.
