JobBoardGeek, The podcast about the business of connecting candidates and employers has returned with the 15th episode. Hosts Steven Rothberg, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of College Recruiter, and Jeff Dickey-Chasins aka the Job Board Doctor are joined by guest Arran Stewart, Founder and CVO of Job.com.
Jeff and Steven start the episode with the usual industry news recap. This week’s big news revolves around Jobcase acquiring Recruitology. Steven predicts that the deal will be beneficial for both sides. He says that from what he knows about the CEOs of both companies, their teams are going to mesh really well.

Eventually, after doing some research on the average job-seeker in the UK, he created his own job aggregation platform.
Steven asks about his acquisition strategy and Arran talks about some of the success he has gotten from buying staffing companies. He shares how he is able to use staffing data in order to create better job matches for candidates.
Finally, Arran explains his recent usage of the blockchain and his goal of creating the largest directory of career data to ultimately make it easier for job seekers to get a job.
