Cool video, man that is a huge battery for that boat, just some info its bad to pull on the wires like you did at home to get it back out. there not fastened all that well on some packs. i just ordered this boat should be here in a couple of weeks, what prop are you using? same size but a better one or different size? Thanks
😊👍Put just 2 little pieces of tape on that hatch so it can't fly off and get lost...or go around the whole thing for a waterproof seal.

can a stock ft011 rc boat be compatible with a 14.8volt 70c lipo battery?
Yes As long as it's not too heavy and it fits In the battery tray

@@thomaspaler4802 lol The C rating is only controlling how long you can power burst and potential punch out power. I have run this boat with the stock ESC on A 5S that was 80c Trust me you will be able to run your 4S 70C with no issue you could even take it up to a 120C and the boat would love it. Hi i am from indonesia, I have feilun ft011 and I will upgrade with esc flycolor 90a, does esc have to be programmed? and can it support the original feilun transmitter and receiver

what size prop you have on there? also did you notice it's faster with that metal prop? thanks
Honestly I can't remember but I bought it on eBay it was an ft 11 upgrade prop. Don't think about the Ft 11 is going faster if you want to go faster get a bigger battery and motor and esc. Too big of a prop will burn out the motor or the ESC too small of a prop will overheat the motor or the ESC it's not about going faster it's about finding what fits the boat properly you may gain a couple miles per hour with a better prop but to work with the boat without causing problems is a whole nother story. If you want to go faster you need to upgrade the internals of the boat
Saw another video where a guy recommended taking a file to the front and bottom of the rudder to give it a "knife edge." Claimed it lowered the drag allowing the boat to go a bit faster. Have you done that or think it would matter?

Why didn’t you just put another original battery on the other side and wire them both in parallel? Twice the run time and good balance.

Fast Music203 Negative to negative and positive to positive gives the same voltage. Positive to negative and negative to positive doubles the voltage.

KRYPTONIX you can purchase TH-cam intros with the app from the Android market called Fivrr or something like that just look up TH-cam intro inside the app and it cost about $5 to purchase an intro

I have the Ft012 and the Ft011i have had them for a couple years now and when they make that buzzing noise the ESC is shot the original ESC's the blue ones are crap. I just got the " new version" Black ESC not the blue one. Got it from Aliexpress Installed it last night haven't run it yet but seems fine on the bench. I'm looking to upgrade to better ESC's and motors in both mine been looking at the 90amp Flycolor ESC. So far both my motors have held up tho!😉 I have running and maintenance videos on my page.😁

Do you think a 6200mah Lipo battery would blow the boat up? cause that’s what I want to put in mine
Oh yes the motor and the ESC was able to handle a 5S but unfortunately the steering servo burned out after this video was made it was too much amperage current running through the system if you put a 6s on it will instantly fry everything

@@IFixShet Just wack a larger capacity ESC in there....Shorten the shaft, shift the motor back to allow the Batt to go forward and run it on 6S ( if you ever wanted to upgrade ) Oh.. and a 2 blade sharpened brass prop. Great little hulls these, Thanks man! 💯👍👍
