You got some beautiful items! I just placed and order at FQS using your affiliated link. I hope it helps a little! I too am going to be slowing down on purchases in 2025. I am going through all of my fabric and so far, I've counted 54 jelly rolls, I think about 36-layer cakes, about 28 FQ bundles, 21 pre "built" quilt kits and I stopped counting after 65 charm packs! I'm not even done going through totes and bags yet. I just added to that today with my FQS order! I also went to MSQ and saw that their "village" shops were on sale! So, I purchased all of them and the figurines to go with them. I need a bigger house!! LOL! Hope you have a wonderful day!
@@madiemay4694 Good morning Maddie! I have no words for all that fabric 😳😅!! Lololol!! 21 quilt kits!?!? Wow that sounds like some serious fun! I bet it's so fun just going through all the lovely lines and colors! Thank you so much for using my link! I so appreciate that! I love FQS, rebsfabstash and MSQC. So what did you order from fqs? So for those 54 jellyrolls.. @sewbecca is doing a jellyroll race quilt friday night on her live. I plan to be there and do one with my tula pink jelly roll. Maybe see you there! Thank you again for watching 👀! My video recap of my 25 day countdown should be up tomorrow or Saturday. God bless you 🙏. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
@@GrandmaD2024 I will be looking for the video. I will look into the Friday night live. For my FQS order, I ordered the daily special, Pure Solids Barn Owl FQ Bundle, 4 of the Julia 5" Charm packs, 2 of the Sunny Skies 5" Stackers, the FQ Bonanza (always wanted to try this) and the Kimberbell tote bag. I've been collecting fabric for about 5 years but only sewing/quilting for less than a year. I am slow at sewing because I am still perfecting the 1/4" seam! I am finding that I LOVE cutting out the fabric for the patterns. I work a straight 3 PM - 11 PM shift and I love coming home at night and go into my sewing/craft room and just pick up fabric and a pattern and just start cutting. It's so relaxing to me. Have a wonderful day!
@@madiemay4694 that sounds like an amazing haul! I struggle even now with my seams. I learned under my mom making clothing for years and am fairly new to quilting (the last 6ish years). If you don't have one.. lori holt has a seam so easy guide for your machine bed. I love mine and you can see it on the bed of my kenmore in my sewing videos. I understand it can be a bit intimidating but keep practicing! Remember what Jenny said in her easy button.. about finishing is better than being perfect! Have a great day!
That is a great stash!! Like you, been working on being/staying debt free. My goal for 2025 is to re-organize my crafty office, and all the fabric I've collected. How do you have your room organized?
@@berni526 Hi Berni! I'm so happy that you are working towards being debt free! Its a journey for sure. I have such a small space to sew now it's been a constant work in progress. I have had some great and some bad ideas but im looking for a tall bookcase style cabinet with drawers in the bottom. For fabric/notion organization. One great idea is that I use heavy duty clear totes from Walmart that are for shoes & boots.. i can see everything and they stack nicely. Thanks again for watching 👀! Happy New Year!!
