Lovely to see you back with Oddbody along at Rocky Bay. I haven’t been along for several months, in the past I’ve had good finds after winter storms , but on other occasions it’s covered in seaweed. As Nicole says , marbles are becoming scarce, although I’ve had a couple of clay marbles on the beaches behind my house in the last few weeks, I would always rather find a Codd marble!
A great haul of sea glass ....such amazing colours.....I like the square meter idea it could work at that beach for sure...looking forward to next week's hunt for treasure...Karl from eastern Canada

Ah! Oddbody! I have a rubber duckie story for you: Back last September,Nicola White gave me a rubber duckie that she found whilst camping on Hoo island. This is the third one that I have recieved from her,and I needed to name him. A few weeks ago,it occurred to me,a perfect name: “Ducktor Hoo”!!! 🤣 But here’s the cool thing! A week or so ago,I picked it up and realized it was still partially filled with Thames river water and mud!!! I live near the River Black.I shall extract this water and mud from the mighty Thames,and marry it with my river over here,thousands of miles away.
We take a couple and made a shell box a few years ago ❤️ in general though, we take only a few pieces to make jewelry and leave lots for others to find 😊
Newish subbie here! Love your beach vids! We're coming to Scotland in may, and have already deserted our plan to drive the nc500 because we saw your channel! Any suggestions for us? Not sure of rules regarding parking and beachcombing! Are there clear designation public beach signage? Any help would be appreciated! Greetings from Pennsylvania! Best, eb
Thanks so much! Beaches in Scotland and the land in general is free to access. There is a right to access , to walk over fields respectfully, to wander the beaches... We go to open beaches that are mainly on the Fife Coastal Path ( check out our series ) and there are lots of parking places nearby and sometimes even a public toilet which comes in handy if you are there for hours and hours... Very few beaches are a bit harder to get to and you might have to climb rocks. Very best of luck and take care searching!
