5:28 with comment at 5:45, that's what the washer is for. You tossed the new one aside at 1:08 and did not reinstall it at 7:31

I got what looks the exact same tool but it kept slipping on the nut . Not getting a good grip . I got tool rental from OReillys. I got the closest wrench adapter to the nut and read the instructions. I locked it in place with the locking mechanism. Still no luck. Tomorrow I’ll try again. I used it at junkyard and couldn’t get it off . Finally just bought it at AZ . Tomorrow try to get the one off my 15 Ford Fusion SE 2.5 L and put in the new one . Anything you can advise?

trying to heat up the joint with a small torch, they have locktite on them which makes them very tight. Heat it up for a solid 2min and then try again with the tool

I just used one of this on my envoy. Got a loaner tool from o'Reilly's. Costed $104 after tax. Should get a full refund when its returned. Have to admit it's a pain to use but it does work. Next time I'll just buy a different version from Amazon.

When installing the inner tie rod should you clean the threads, dry, and put Loctite Blue on the threads of the new tie rod?

need to heat it up with a propane torch. They are installed with some lock tite so use heat to and it will help you loosen it.

Will a possible actleyene torch work? Don’t have a propane bottle

😅 Dude wastes two minutes of our lives showing us how to lock the tool and then figures out he has to take it apart before putting it on the tie rod. That was painful to watch.
