What happens if the inner brake pad came off and the piston is holding the rotor and the piston is warped after the metal is shaved down from metal to metal contact. Can I replace the piston alone?
@nathanielfausto5826 yes you can, but also replace the dust boot and square cut piston seal
Hi sir i have a question. My Chevrolet Cruze 2014 lt has no issues in the remote lock and unlock, however only if i put the key to unlock the driver's door manually, the key rolls normally with a clicking sound but the lock doesn't open. So i believe that the problem is not in my actuator. Its with the plastic part where the manual lock is connected?
@TommyCooper-sm8xf you would still have to take off the door panel and visually check. Maybe one of the rods are sticking.
@OneTrickTech so what part could be bad if it's not the actuator Lock?
@TommyCooper-sm8xf check the linkage between the key hole lock and the actuator. Might be a mechanical failure
Bro I bought 1 because they are cheap, I carry a gallon of coolant with me and replace it every month. I've had to replace every hose. 😡
The 2nd part should involve jack stands buddy. Dont crawl under that car with only a jack
Bravery is with him crawling under the car with only a jack
0:24 I've been getting everyone's favorite lean fuel error code on my chevy Sonic while cold. I hooked a smoke tester to the air intake and that rectangular hole between the throttle body and the runners is just blasting smoke out. I really want to know if this is typical behavior or an actual issue. It seems that the people who's had this just dumped some RTV/Silicone in there to seal it up, but I'd rather not jump to conclusions without knowing what that port is for.
Great vid, what did you gap them at? I wouldn’t have left them at the factory gap setting, I was wondering if 0.28-0.30 was good!
I had coolant dripping from the oil filter housing. With your help I tracked the leak to the coolant outlet tube from the oil cooler. I purchased an o-ring and $0.84 later had it fixed. Thanks
Thank you!
Здравствуйте, а почему фазорегуляторные шестерни одинаковые ?
That was helpful thanks
Ryobi has a right angle die grinder in their brushless hp line
My grandfather has patents on led and florescent tech and I'm just not giving anybody 75$profet none of this krap cost over 10$ to make so u might get 25$......maby50$ for something i can see like the whole side of a mountain with and i mean for at least 30min on hii none of thouse kraps that cut them selves down after 2 mins.
Because that bolt is torqued to stretch the bolt, it shouldn't need anything to hold it in place anyway. Old applications of seize material should do the trick as the brakes heat and cool. But being female with little bird arms, that bracket is a nightmare for me at torque of 80 lbs-ft spec. I've used a handheld butane torch that worked on back brake bolts but not the front. I have a larger propane torch so I might try this on the driveway brake assembly that I'm doing now. Since I'm replacing calipers, the old piston is already removed and hung out of the way, so the rubber seals on the pins aren't an issue. Just the bare bracket and rotor remain. Thanks for the tip.
MPG rating. You're welcome.
mpg is fake news
Or maybe its cuz its a 27 year old truck with 310k miles and 35's 😂
It's not just an additive, it's supposed to come out of your engine rather quickly. The idea is to do a very short interval oil change to try to remove as much garbage out of the oil system as possible before replacing with fresh fluid.
NUH UH
I couldnt get the dipstick plug/cap off even with removing the battery to get better access. the oring on the plug was stuck to the ID of the dip stick. Even with the tab pressed in i couldnt get enough of a grip on the plug/cap to pull it off. I would recommend, since you already have the wheel well guard off just remove the dip stick all together. Its one 10mm bolt easily accessed. remove the plug after you remove the dip stick, then re-install the dip stick to add the liquid. its easy to add the plug back on, but i wish i would have just removed the disptick and saved the swear jar some deposits.
Is it ok to heat up even if I’ve been using penetrating oil?
Bro. Quick, concise straight to the point. Awesome
Nope shouldn’t need to as it isn’t in any moving part it is used for preasure that’s it it won’t change Color or go bad cause we are using a principal that liquids can’t be compressed that’s why the brakes apply we just use a more viscus fluid so it takes less to compress the only time you need to add fluid is when you feel no pressure behind the pedal(which can be a even larger problem) changing the break lines or even bleeding the brakes and if you notice that your reservoir is low which will give you problem 1
U didn't get it
Thats absolutly wrong. Brake fluid is hydrophile, wich means it embedds water over time. Breakfluid heats up due to the pressure while breaking, wich is no problem because the boiling point of clean breakfluid is up to 230°C (DOT4). By 3% water in the fluid the boiling point sinks to roughly 140°C, wich is not high for a breaksystem in use. So now the water boils, becomes gas in your brakelines and different to fluid gas can be compressed wich leads to no breaking power in your system. I dont know where you have your infos from but you are certainly wrong by advising to just refill and never change your breakfluid
Next thing is Break fluid can certainly change its color due to using the wrong fluid (DOT4 in DOT3 Systems for example. ORings in older systems cant withstand DOT4 wich leads them to decompose wich colors the fluid black) or due to contamination with water (green coloring)
Straight to the point and very easy to follow. Thank you very much. Just what I needed
Yhey could have used normal bolt head on that pulley but no they have to make things more hassle.
From experience that plastic cover might be hard to pop off. Start with the flaps on top of the bolts thta are behind the steering wheel. Should come off easy
Why would you lock the flywheel. I dont understand
Good stuff thanks for the video .

I’ve been trying to solve my intermittent steering wheel vibration at 90 k + with my 2005 Pontiac Vibe This might b the problem .. has anyobe experienced this and discovered it to b the drive axle or inner tie rod.
Hey what’s the part number or model for the brake pads?

One of my favorite tools. Don’t use everyday but when I do it gets the job done. Paid 80 bucks for it!
Yo at about 1:40 He's messing with the purge valve. And he pulls a connector out of the right side. Can anybody tell me what the connector is coming out of the left side of the purge valve? I can't find it and I feel ridiculous
With the red lock tab? That's the evap hose goes back to back of car near fuel tank, possibly to charcoal cannister

Excellent camera work ! The video was excellent also thank you !!!!!
Does this car "live" near the ocean? Huge amount of rust in the bolts and other places.
👏👏👏
Awsome collaboration with Vauxhaul to start using Ecotec in the best Machine on the planet
who was the idiot at gm or daewoo that dubbed this an oil cooler???? tucked away hugged by the exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter that is a oil heater instead... if u live in alaska that oil heater is ok.. but if u live in arizona or florida thats stupid
Its an "oil cooler" because it uses the cars coolant to maintain oil temp.
It's cause I'm gay
Yup, busted one on Audi thst looked like idiots put lock tite on with last brake job.. need heat.
First thing First 😮 it’s BMW genius 😅 next that’s why we are technicians not engineers wrong careers mate 😅😮
