    The beach and town at the southern end of Bucerías is nicer and more separated from the highway. About 10 mins along the beach from where you were.

    Hi Gabriel, I'll be honest with you: Those towns seem perfect for relaxing and a real escape from the beach resort towns. You're looking for something in between and that's Sayulita for you that's where you feel most comfortable. You're no stranger to exploring your surroundings I get you want to know where to go and not waste a lot of time finding that perfect spot where you're not spinning in circles. Sort of what you do when you go to India it's like you're not a tourist anymore you're a native person who knows where he's going to stay and do without wasting a lot of energy. So in turn you enjoy the trip and stay.

You really are not doing any justice to Rincon de Guayabitos, Lo de Marcos, Bucerias or Punta Mita. Your quick poke arounds don’t give a true flavor. Sayulita is one of the places that us locals avoid. I truly do not know what you are trying to do on this channel? Oh this brings back memories…was there 6yrs. ago…found a very affordable A&B. Stayed there as our center point. Spent most of our days day tripping to hike. Visited San Sebastian del Oeste and was blown away. Made it to the top of the mountain and saw what looked like an overgrown air strip…asked around and one thing led to another and once upon a time famous film director John Huston stayed there for month on end…overtime it ended up becoming a museum…made the trek and couldn’t believe the photos, newspapers, ledgers,etc. photos of Huston, Elizabeth Taylor, Anjelica’s birthday parties, many famous people of that era! The hacienda and yard were stunning. It was For Sale at the time. What a day trip that was. While visiting Mexico, we never ate at the fancy restaurants, the best places to eat are off the main drag and tucked away… during the work week, look for the workers lunch hour line ups…best tacos/tortillas ever!

    I know this sounds unlikely but you were on the wrong end of Bucerias Beach! The other end is very quiet as it is far away from centro (like in Suyulita). That's also where all the surf rental stuff and hippie vibe restaurants are (along with fancy too). I also love San Pancho and Suyulita-viva Mexico!

    I have stayed in Punta de Mita for a few yrs. You walked pass the beautiful place but you can't see it unless you go inside.
    You needed to turn left & keep on going down the beach past the rock piles. Then you will find a local restaurant on the best beach of all of them & my favourite; It's shallow and good for body surfing. You could have walked to the end of the street to get there as well...a bit grubbier but once you're there it's babulous. Another thing: on low tide you can walk miles to LaPlancha Surfers Beach and in front of mansions. Heck you can walk all the way to Bucerias.
    LaCrux de Huanaxle has the best market on Sundays mornings, crowded but good food.

    First time viewing your channel, the Bucerias title caught my attention. Like most viewers comments, you did Bucerias little justice with your review. You seemed to dislike the town before you got off the bus! Bucerias is a wonderful town that has a authentic Mexican feel that blends with the tourist aspect that is unavoidable. Next time you visit Bucerias "pump the brakes" and spend a couple days exploring the area.

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I searched for what to see and it seemed like it was basically the beach and the Bucerias sign with the diver statue, so that's what I headed for. It was fine but didn't seem like anything special. Based on the comments it sounds like there was a nicer area further down the beach that I didn't know about. So I'll have to check that out next time I go back.

    The bus ride from PV to Sayulita is about $2.50 one way, that bus will also stop in Punta de Mita, you may want to consider a day trip t Las Palmas or Ixtapa (IS-TOP-A) or you may want to consider showing the Marian District of PV which hosts yachts from around the world and many resorts along with a nice boardwalk along the bay with many shops and restaurants and is very close to the airport.

      Seems like there might be a communication breakdown here. I definitely took the right bus because it took me to Sayulita, which is where I wanted to go. If it had gone to Punta de Mita on the way that would have been a bad thing because it would have taken an hour longer. And the bus took me straight to the Sayulita bus station, rather than stopping out on the main road, which means you have farther to walk. As for getting from Punta de Mita to Sayulita, I looked at every bus carefully and they were all going back to Bucerias, not to Sayulita, so I don't know what happened there.

    Uber prices per trip are not standard. It all depends on how much business they are getting at that time. And then I guess AI adjusts the price accordingly. So for example, one trip at rush hour is going to be a lot more expensive than that same trip when it's less busy. Sometimes it can even vary within like 10 minutes, depending on which drivers are busy.
