- Simple steps on how to draw a more complex Celtic Triskele Knot. This example is from the Durham Gospel, which likely dates from the early 600s. This period is considered Celtic, Anglo-Saxon and Pictish. Jason Bellchamber provides simple instruction. Have a pencil, eraser, ink pen and paper to begin.

Another great lesson! Thank You!
Dude! My god! That's so much easier grasping the pencil like you do it! Its like I unshackled my hand , freeing it. Dude! That is so much better!
you rock. i am going to now draw celtic knots like crazy.
You are a great teacher. You really inspire
Thanks for the comments. This one is really fun to do and even if you just draw the black spine you can really impress your friends.

Try doing Celtic Patterns #36 till you can do it free hand. Then you'll notice that this one is a variant of #36.
I'll impress myself when I get it.!
Wow! What i was doing my whole life was laying the pencil across my middle finger inbetween the finger nail and the joint right next to it. That locked the pencil.into my hand requiring me to move my wrist
cool! thanks!
thanks
Dude!!!! Wtf!!!!😁😁😀😀😀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
I'm noticing the way your holding the pencil. Your grasping it between 3 fingers. I grasp by laying it over my middle finger and grasping it with my thumb and index finger. That's probably why i can't draw, the way im holding it locks it in place
stop drawing over my spine
