  • Jason Bellchamber shows the steps on how to draw a Triskele found on the Crozier of Clonmacnoise. If you can draw a triangle then you can draw Celtic Knots (with practice of course). This design is a variant of a simple trillium triskele from video #1. You'll need a blank paper, a pencil, and eraser and a thick and thin marker.

Thanks for writing. The pens in this video are a 0.5 and a 0.7mm Staedtler black ink pen. I use a range of 0.3 to 0.9mm for Knotwork drawing. For the really thick lines in other videos I use a double ended calligraphy pen called a Steadtler calligraph duo. I love this pen it forces you to draw larger.

your videos help out a lot but i still have a question...
    What thikness are your markers?
I use 0.3 and 0.5(these are my preferences) but just want to know what are you using...
    nice videos.

any trick to draw in perspective? I mean for me is very difficult to attach it to a character in perspective or doing some action. thx.

That is a good idea for a video during the next 2 weeks Richy thanks. I would practice first drawing the outer grid or square in perspective (from the vanishing points) then begin to fill it that way.

@@TheCelticGoldsmith It would be very importan... special for people who has Ambyopia and
farsightedness the case of mine...hehe, however I draw very good, but I know my limitations, perspective special for logo , patterns , the rest it is ok....thx! would be interesting challenge! also to append kelts's logos to characters , as far as I know, tatoos , grabbed armors. thx
