Do you guys dose anything while using the brightwell reef salt ? Or do you guys do weekly water changes to maintain parameters!!
We do both!! Larger tanks like this, we’d use calcium reactors. But we are also a big fan of supplements from Brightwell Aquatics!
What are the chances I can see the farm when I drive from far West Texas next week?
What sand are you using the in the display? I’m using Seaflor special grade in my reefer 350 but I can’t stop my mp40’s creating dunes. Looks like the stuff you use stays in place under high flow.
For tanks that requires higher flow, you could use substrate with very large grains. We actually use calcium reactor media for a lot of our tank’s substrate :)

Oh those chalices! Any tips on growing chalices in a normal home reef?
If you’ve never kept chalices, you can start off with something easy/fast growing such a Space Invader chalice :) other than that, moderate lighting/flow and consistent water parameters :)
