Seeing you put in so much time, effort, and dedication into your cooking truly inspires me and brings a smile to my face. I’d imagine that in some ways, cracking a crab could be kind of relaxing. I’m curious as to what you like to do when you’re cooking for a long time. Do you listen to music, or an audiobook? Or do you just go over your thoughts, or talk to your loved ones? For me, it’s the latter. I can cook for hours just being alone in my thoughts, and it helps me unwind after a long day. Or, I’ll talk with my parents while they also help around in the kitchen (or just stand there and drink while I do all the work… haha)

Although many find its flavor distinct and delicious, it is recommended that you do not eat this since many chemical contaminants concentrate in the organ

Been eating it for decades, and I'm still alive. But you know what's gross? shrimp poop. Not a lot of places devein shrimps. Especially when people do seafood boil. They're pretty much eating shrimp poop. And crawfish poop.

I wish I could get my hands on some whole Dungeness crab. They only sell the cleaned leg segments here…no beautiful crab fat. I can get whole blue crabs, but they rarely get to the same size.
