- There are 95 hills in the Peak District. over 400m and it’s my mission to bag them all. This is actually my 10th as I take a long route to Higher Tor and visit Millstone edge, Whote Edge, Curbar Edge and Froggat Edge.
I also talk about my camping plans this winter too!

Bagging the Ethels is fun but unfortunately you can’t summit all of them as they are on private land 😢
It’s such a shame - the Ethel Ready app seems quite good at getting you close! I don’t want to incur anyone’s wrath though!

Out of interest, why do you call yourself a crag rat?
It’s a name given to someone from Knaresborough because of the crags around Nidd Gorge. It sounds in keeping with the outdoors but I’m definitely not a climber just an outdoorsman!
It was a reference made by and enthusiastic rock climbers in my day
I have got a little bit exposed ground to cover in my quest to complete the munros so maybe I’ll live up to the name then!
