Este video deberia mostrarse como ejemplo a los nuevos cantantes (no solo de opera) de como se debe INTERPRETAR una aria, cancion o lo que sea, no solo cantarla por cantarla, sino que en verdad sentirla y transmitir ese sentimiento, a mi parecer nadie mejor que Carreras para mostrar esa pasion ese arrojo en el escenario, como si el mundo se fuese a acabar, lamentablemente eso no se ve a menudo hoy en dia. Los cantantes cantan como si tan solo se tratara de un tramite, solo dinero.

Jose sang his ass off that night. He was fabulous. He beat cancer and laid down a masterpiece with this powerful rendition of Chenier. You deserve your place in the hall of fame Jose, along with so many wonderful tenors. Baritones also!

Che peccato che la voce di questo signore non sia stata sorretta da una tecnica vocale valida e da un repertorio giusto!!!!! Secondo me se avesse avuto una buona tecnica e avesse studiato ASSIDUAMENTE nei suoi 40 anni di carriera, secondo me sarebbe stato il nostro ultimo Andrea Chenier, però l'avrebbe dovuto debuttare proprio nel 1990 e non nel 1979, così con uno studio attento e una voce matura, accompagnato il tutto da una BUONA TECNICA l'avrebbe cantata dal 1990 al 2010!!!!
