Esto es lo más psicodelico qué he escuchado de syd, sin duda los 70's son la mejor época de la psicodelia

Maybe Syd Barrett wanted to go out in a pacive yet decisive Blaze of Glory.
    Notoriety or not.

It was 1974. He went into the studio for the last time in August 1974 with his former manager, Peter Jenner producing.

He was rusty, and it's a bootleg. It sounds heavier than 1968 to me overall. It's also only a fragment of his whole session.

1968 was a place to Syd. It was the place where Syd got stuck and couldn't get out. Too bad. He was a very talented guy.

What a pity, a sad story. Syd Barett was a talented, gifted young man. He founded Pink Floyd at the age of 19. He made one record and released two singles. He wrote 52 songs. He was kicked out at the age of 22. He made two solo records after that. His musical processing is not so good. Syd Barett was already ill. It's sad that he never had therapy. It wasn't easy for Syd and his family. Psychiatry wasn't ready back then. But it was in the 80s and 90s. He needed therapy to get his psyche back on track. Sad. He failed as a painter and musician.

If you ask me syd barrett didn’t go mad he was kicked out of the band because they didn’t mend well with him hemp over time or it didn’t cohesively make sense

He was abandoned in his time of need. When someone clearly aught to seek help for a mental condition, the other band members didn't make sure Syd received this. In those days there was provision for assistance with nervous breakdowns but the stigma around this could have been an issue for the other Pink Floyd group members.

@@-roejogan- Having seen Roger Waters doing a public speech at a Julian Assange demonstration, he struck me as someone who is intolerant and not very compassionate in the way he delivered his talk. Do wonder what the other band members felt about leaving Syd to his fate and not doing any more to assist him. After all, he was their main songwriter and creative force in the group. Just noting that Syd made two solo albums with contributions from other Floyd members so they were able to continue working with him when his mental state was deteriorating.
