- On this week's episode we install brighter, better LED Tail lights on our Jeep wrangler JK unlimited sitting on 37 inch mud tires! If you are new to our channel we are the Garage Couple, and we love installing mods and parts on our jeep wranglers. We currently own a 2005 Jeep wrangler TJ rubicon and a 2015 jeep wrangler JK unlimited sport, both with lift kits and 38 and 37 inch tires respectively.

I have those same taillights as the ones you had on before the new ones , but mine are sequential and definitely brighter than those

@@Garagecouple they never arrived. My post office probably sent them back without notifying me they were here. They have done that a few times before. No worries though.

The taillights look sharp compared to the old ones for sure.
Side note- the gold box you called the anti-flicker module is actually a resistor inside of a heat sink. You'll want to affix that to something metal inside the housing so the heat can safely escape. I've got a friend who had some "professional" work done that included those heat sinks under the TIPM. They were melting the wiring harness and caused bigger issues.

Nice episode Guys!! Congrats on 13K subs. I have JWSpeaker taillights on my JK and looking to replace the taillights on my wife's JK. These are just as bright for a fraction of the price. Thanks for helping make my choice.

Have you upgraded your interior lights to led? If so do you have an easy way to get to the ones in the rear view mirror?
We have, but we kept the rear view lights because there is no easy way to do it, i think they are sautered onto the circuit board

That’s not a anti-flicker ; it’s a resistor to trick the jeep into thinking it’s not a burnt out light bulb.. since LEDs are no low resistance you need a resistor.

Yes they are! We are a fan of them, after running both the milestar and radar tires, we think we like the radar tires more! Easier to balance, quieter on the road, and performed better on the snow

I posted a question from the tire upgrade video on her JKU before I never got answered :/ what was it that was done to get the 37’s on the Jeep ? I know you said you would re-gear eventually but besides the flashpak reprogram what else I want to run the same on my Jeep .
Ahh sorry about that! We regeared after driving it for about 1000 miles. Vurrwntly regeared to 4.88 (check out the video for more details). Otherwise lift, spacers, rims, fenders cut, we had replaced the front brake pads a while ago. Just keep in mind there's a very real possibility you can damage the front axle with heavy wheeling. Start budgeting for front axle reinforcements
