In my opinion they're all as good as each other, designed each for different purposes to fulfill different roles. The Trench Raider is excellent in CQC, specifically trenches, the Flametrooper is also good at CQC, but less effective against individuals, rather larger groups, the SMG Sentry is extremely effective taking out individual enemies in CQC, but worse at larger groups, the Infiltrator is good at supporting friendlies and just generally being a nuisance, and the Machine Sentry is best at taking g out large groups of enemies on the move, making it perfect for clearing and capturing flags

I was actually playing bf1 when I saw the notification for this video, even though I was almost at the top of the leaderboard, I still backed out of the match just to watch. I wasnt disappointed

Probably be doing another series on the Battlefield V weapons. No plans on any gun guides for other games at the moment, but I might decide to do them on something else too (if I get the chance) at a later date

Honestly i think that it's the best elite class. Today i got a 30-0 killstreak with it in St. Quentin Scar, mostly the village part of the map. I just shot people left and right
The few times I've used this monster I've loved it. Kinda hard to get though because it barely spawns, and when they do anyone near it sprints directly for it lol.
this was my favorite weapon from BF1, I only wish we could equip it as a primary. I hope DICE add it to BFV, unlikely, but it would be nice
They definitely wont, closest you're getting is the 2 AT rifles which are slightly worse versions
The Tankgewehr is inferior to the American 50cal in pretty much every way (and by extension the Russian version, I think, since the measurements are nearly identical), so by the time of WW2 having a Barrett would make much more sense.
However, later in WW2 tanks were far too armored for an AT rifle to work, at least frontally, which is why they largely stopped using them for that purpose.
Besides, the Tankgewehr needed an angle (I think 45 degrees) to actually penetrate a Mark 5 frontally, according to The Forgotten Weapons.
And then you realize the inventors of this weapon wanted to make an automatic version of it.

Did you know this gun had such powerful recoil it could break the users arm if not shoulderd right and you could not fire more than 3 shots before you would be to sore to fire this thing for the rest of the day because there's no padding on the stock of the rifle

gabe the dog Dickerson Not true. The 13mm round is about the same as a .50bmg in terms of recoil. The rifle is also heavy and has 1" spikes on the bottom of the bipod legs to help keep it into the ground.

Love this elite class and this Tankgewehr 1918 is also on the Lamdship in its tank Hunter version with the driver having the ability to fire it. To me this weapon is actually devastating to the Artillery Truck and the Russian Putilov Garford but the assault tank can tank the shots from this rifle.
I know it's now much of an exciting weapon, but I would really enjoy seeing a wex flamethrower review before you cease to create Battlefield 1 videos. I just think it's really fun to use and get massive kill streaks with and would personally adore watching a video on it.
I'm just focusing on the bullet based guns, so unfortunately I've ruled the Wex out, I wouldn't be able to get reliable stats and there'd be nothing to compare them too if I could.

I took down a landship at full health and in close quarters with this beast and a couple anti-tank grenades. It was very satisfying to that tank go up in flames!

A good tip to kill elite classes easier is to use K bullets. It destroys them

Before the K-bullets and this Tankgewehr, they had to reinsert the point of the 7.92x57 Mauser bullet in reverse, and was used as an improvised anti-materiel bullet until the K-bullet was made.

I would be inclined to debate how effective it was IRL, as often it would take a 90 degree shot to even penetrate a tank, and anything else would pretty much bounce.

It wasnt ment to destroy armoured targets, it was supposed to wound and kill crew and damage things inside. And it want just a larger m98... it had 4 locking lugs instead of 3, it had an m88ejector largened, didnt have a split receiver and had gasport holes.
Technically it could destroy armoured targets by hitting fuel tanks and other important mechanical features (housed within), rendering the vehicle useless in a combat zone
KriticalKris but destrction involves absolute annihilation, or just basically blowing the target up. Im not trying to say that it was impossible for this rifle to blow up a tank, but basically every time a bullet entered a tank it did nothing or little besides wounding and damaging through spalling or direct hits. Almost never did it ignite fuel, as there was no incendiary filler in the ap bullets, and the chances of igniting the fuel just by some sparks are slim. The gasoline would just snuff them out after a hit. Im not sure how ammunition reacts to a hit, so im not sure wether that would lead to a fatal reaction.

I agree with Water Racoon, that would be extremely broken, imagine a whole squad, 1 with the Sentry, one with the Villar Perosa, one with the Grenade Launcher Martini Henry, then someone else with the Tankgewehr, maybe if they give them a massive nerf, but that’s it
One thing I hate about this game is snipers need 2 shots to kill unless it’s to the head. I would understand you’d need another bullet if you hit there legs or arms but come on. So this gun is amazing and I love that it’s a one shot one kill gun.
