How do you know the contractor didn't hire 5 burgeoning hitmen for 2k each?
If 10k is your budget, how do you get the most bang for your buck? 5 rookies at 2k each, 2 good-but-not-great @ 5k, or the seasoned, yet competively priced professional at 10 large.
I know when I pay for a service, I tip accordingly and try to leave a good review.
In that business, 10k IS the price for a beginner
