My family has been packing shoebox’s for about 30 years, we don’t usually do themes bc of how many we pack in a year bc that would get expensive (we’ve packed up to 160 in one year, technically in three days but we collected all year) so we would always find the clearance things and buy a lot of them so we could pack many boxes, it’s just nice to see these videos with no theme bc then Ik we aren’t the only people who don’t do themes. Also me and my family definitely agree on the part were the plastic box is a gift in itself bc there are so many uses for them.

No themed boxes are great. I also pack No themed boxes and it’s totally fine. I probably pack way more no theme than themed. Themes are fun but not necessary for sure. You matched everything together, got all the really important items on there, and the backpack is definitely a wow item. Great video to share with the OCC community. God will get every box to the right children. ❤️

Girls are so easy for me therefore the options are endless but unfortunately the box has a limit 😁 I love the hairmazing dolls. I’ve bought several boxes of them. Small, fun perfect for an OCC box. That troll slap bracelet! I love it. And the sling backpack for $1.00. Wow and definitely a wow item. Another great box. Yours and Byrdfeed were my first channels I watched for inspiration. Thank you for great ideas.

I would even say to pray for guidance as to the age of the child who may be receiving the box. I have a feeling that mine is going to be received by an 11 year old plus I had dreams of her receiving it.

It just gets so hard sometimes when we (I) can’t fit everything in….. here I’m reminding viewers but I always have to remind myself as well. Yes, I got lucky at one store with those bags and scooped them up! Now I just have to pack them up! 😂
Beautiful!! I agree with others that while it's not a theme, the pastel rainbow colors give it a theme. Variety is so important when we pack, and this box has a lot! Probably three or four of these items could be a WOW item. The only things I would do differently -- and these are very small suggestions -- is to cut the hanging tab off the crayon box (child does not need it, and makes it easier to open), and to put a rubber band around the colored pencils and maybe cover the ends so they won't color on the backpack, etc.

I do know that bundling the pencils with a rubber band makes them more bulky so it is a packing tip to pack them loosely. I wasn’t too worried about the tips but I’ll peek at it again for sure! Just a suggestion: I love the pencil packs, but in most countries outside north america (or at least most african, asian and european countries) students above the age of 10 use pens the majority of time at school. Pencils are usually only used in subjects like art and all tests have to be written in pen (either blue or black).

Denise, the Holy Spirit and you packed a wonderful box.. I was blessed to find 3 or 4 of those backpacks. Smile faces and one sunflower. They are great quality like you said. They do take up room but I know the Holy Spirit said buy them so I did. Also got the for a dollar. Great box ,she will be happy with her gifts❤

I like this box a lot. She'll be very happy. The plastic seems to hold less than the paper boxes. Is that your experience too? My favorite thing is the shirt. Do you worry about the colored pencils writing on the bad since they are not covered?
Yes, I kind of feel like I can get more into the cardboard boxes. I pack a little differently when I use the plastic. But I love using both for different reasons. No, I’m not too worried about the colored pencils. I tucked them behind the backpack when I repacked and colored pencils don’t seem to rub off like lead pencils do. Thanks Jett! Cute box, but I think it’s more appropriate for the six to nine year old. The items look a little young for the older girls, especially if they are upwards of twelve. I’m very careful with clothing items and images because many boxes may be headed to cultures that frown on much exposed skin.

It is totally possible. If you don't put as large of items and roll clothing you really can get a lot of stuff into a normal shoe box. Even with larger items and rolling clothing items you can get a lot of stiff in.
