There was no refrigeration back then, and the Cambodian people held on to their old food preparation process. Salt was used to preserve meats and ferment them. That's how prohok was created to preserve fish. Before refrigeration was created, the U.S. and other countries would salt meat as well. They no longer eat the same salted meats as they did in old times. It's great to see Mey show the process of preparing Prahok.👍🏽
Patrick is a lucky guy in the world, while so many Americans here in Japan/Korea can't even find the true love, and they're still struggled to find one, they have some money but have no life and no friend, nothing, nobody care. You got people who taking care of you and watching you when you're getting sick, and you don't need any money and that is call pure love, and people that don't even know you and they still do the same thing. In Japan or Korea if you don't have any money, and you have to stay home and watch yourself and take care of yourself or just wait for the dead day. BITE THE BULLET BRUH
Thank you for warm welcome us Pat and Mei! You’re very kind and good friends of mines

Cambo that looks so damn delicious my saliva is watery. One of my favorite is steak and prahouk dip, it hits the spot for sure.
