Hi Chris, the 50s, 60s and early 70s were the glory days of Khmer life before the war. We had a Prince that ruled the country not the Prime Minister. Alot of culture back in the day and alot of the older folks like it better than Cambodia today.

Cambodia history is very sad. It keep on having war with the internal and external, for 600 year we have been suffer with the same problems over and over again. Even nowadays, corruption is a silent war that destroys innocent life.
what really made china tick off the most was a Cambodian prodigy. that was the last time china lost and got so angry. china hold a grudge against cambodian for a very long time
yeah, because of the civil war with the Khmer rouge. all the genocide of millions of Khmer people dying cause the collapsed of the country. the economy and growth of the country were setback. thank God it's all over now. the khmer people are resilient and strong. the country will catchup with the rest of the world in no time.
