    you should use the extra or “messed up” tiles and add some cork to the bottom and use them as coasters for your outdoor space!

    The stencil and spray paint on plain white tiles is a genius idea! Those ones in the shops can be ridiculously expensive and this is a great budget friendly option. Fantastic project, Tina. You should be proud of this one. xxx

    Hey Tina! Great job as always! You should look into a pocket hole jig. It’s a cheap and super easy tool to join wood together such as a box

    Great job! Just make sure you wait until your miter saw blade stops spinning before you lift it off the wood. Safety first!
    Also, you might want to drill pilot holes in the wood before using screws. It’ll prevent splitting the wood. Love the stencil design. Looks great!

    So proud of you!! The stenciled tiles came out amazing. Are you planning on leaving it outside?? If you are I would drill some drainage holes in the bottom just so water doesn't pool in the planter. I don't think you normally get much rain in southern Cali but just in case I wouldn't want water to collect in it.
    What a great project!!

    As a note on the mitre saw, it would be just as easy to to this with a circular saw and there are mitre saws that extend as well, they are more expensive but are more versatile.

    • @quixxovel
      @quixxovel 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just say this because I notice a lot of creators use ryobi, but I've used three different mitre saws and none of them were stationary like that. It's cool that this is battery powered but I choose corded for this type of thing if you're going to use it for larger projects.

    Well... Good DIY. But to create something that is so easily available (design tiles) by buying more stuff, and single-use stuff is kind of foolish to me at least. I absolutely love all the DIYs you make here, but unfortunately this time... I did not like it. This isn't your style.
