So it looks like the notes for Mango Punch are listed incorrectly on many websites (including the one I ordered from and put on the screen). Those are the notes for Mango Skin by Vilhelm. Apparently this is similar, but not an exact dupe. The correct notes are: Top Notes: Mango, Pineapple, Gardenia, Blackberry, Citrusy Accord Heart Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Lotus Flower, Gardenia, Iris Base Notes: Vanilla, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk The pineapple and citrus makes a lot more sense, since this has a fruit cocktail type scent to it.
I love the marshmallow in Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme.. I tried a version of Princess by Juliana’s Perfume and if it’s truly similar, I don’t think I’d like the OG..plus I can’t ever find a sample to try. My two blind buys I absolutely love are by Armaf; Club De Nuit Woman and White Imperiale. Now I want to try Angham because Goddess falls so flat on my skin and has zero longevity on me.
I love Princess but find the name and packaging SO TACKY. It’s the one perfume I DON’T want to show off in my collection. Also I get so much ginger from it! And surprisingly I love it (not usually a fan of very ginger-heavy scents)
Haha I feel you! The old bottle is embarrassing, it would have deterred me from buying it haha. So this one is more acceptable in my opinion, still not great though.
Love the lipstick on you, Kat! I have to admit, I love blind buying. I only do it with middle Eastern fragrances, just like you, for the same reasons. Some loves: Khair Pistacchio, Crystal love for her, Khamra, Mercedes Benz Club black, and a very cheap dupe for Lost Cherry. A like, but only when I am in a specific mood, is Coffee Addict. You own that one too, don't you? I don't use it a lot, but I like how unique it is in my collection, it is kind of a fun one. Thanks for the video!
Khair Pistacchio is on my wish list. I have resisted because I don't like the Kayali one that it is inspired by, I also think nutty fragrances are risky on my skin chemistry, but I am still interested haha. Yeah I have Coffee Addict, I just don't like smelling like bitter coffee, it is a bit jarring when I smell it throughout the day 😅
Can we have your top freshies list also? I have a small bottle of Vilhelm Mango Skin, never knew l needed a mango perfume. When its done, I'll be after another. Does the Paris Corner smell of Mango or more so blended fruits? Unfamiliar with the cottees, I'm a lifelong Golden Circle Apple & Raspberry girl 😆
I can definitely do a current top freshies video, I just haven't been blind buying many. Mango punch does smell like mango, but it also has a generic tropical fruit type smell. The notes I put on the screen were from the store I ordered it from, but they look to be the exact same notes as Mango Skin. BUT when I look at other reviews of Mango Punch it also lists other notes like pineapple and citrus, which I do smell. Overall I think Mango Punch is very sweet and smells a lot like a tropical cocktail rather than a fresh mango scent. A fresher lighter mango fragrance that I also like is Lattafa Ajayeb Dubai, I don't know how it compares to Mango Skin, but it is a lot fresher and gives a mango citrus vibe with a woody musky base, quite unisex.
@@TopNotesofKat thanks Kat, I'll check the Lattafa you mentioned also. It sounds nice regardless, l did see the pineapple & citrus mentioned in the top notes. Saw a review saying it's 80% similar. At the end of the day for me it doesn't have to be an exact dupe.
I have tried Mango Skin in store, and I really liked it, but I don't remember exactly to say how similar it is.. I don't remember Mango Skin being this sweet. But I have just watched a few reviews and apparently it is supposed to be similar! Edit: ok this reviewer is saying that on a test strip they are similar, but on the skin Mango Skin stays more juicy mango, whereas Mango Punch is very pineapple heavy and then becomes a bit musky (I agree).
I love Burberry goddess so I’ve ordered Angham! I’m tempted by the BR dupe, as I love the scent in the bottle but don’t love how it wears on me so maybe it’s worth trying? Also I’d love if you did a video about duping in the fragrance industry, whether you think it’s ethical or not, and maybe how it compares to makeup/skincare duping?
I have been wanting to get the amber rouge one. I’m completely nose blind to original BR540, I think because of the ambroxan in it. I’ll get round to eventually. Funny story, in my town, sometimes I will walk past someone in the shopping centre and I’ll smell bad kerosene sharp BR 540. I can immediately tell that the person is wearing a cheap dupe.
Hi! Unfortunately where I live I only get access to designer perfumes. Buying a 2 ml sample plus shipping is not worth it. So for me a blind buy is the solution . Now I m really interested in Angham and if you say that the lavender is softer than BG ( to sharp for me in this one) I may go for it.

Oh thank you for the follow up!
I came across your channel and it was an immediate subscribe! I live in Aus and love supporting local creators
Thank you 🥰
I dislike B. Rouge, but I really like the fancy red genie bottle Kat has
Thank you for a lovely review! 👌
Oohhh now I'm really excited to buy the khair fusion because I LOVE lychee 😍

A couple excellent blind buys were BDK Citrus Riviera, BDK Neroli Villa, Lataffa Eclair, and Kayali Eden Lychee

Oh another fresh mango is Mango Thai Lime by Jo Loves. That's a fun one!
@@TopNotesofKat oh l did see that pop up in my google search but didn't click as I'd never heard of Jo Loves, will check it out 👍

You read my mind! I have that video concept on my list of things to film!

Interesting! I’d love to hear your thoughts on amber rouge if you ever get your nose on it.
That’s so funny, I get no chemical smell with Baccarat Rouge - just burnt sugar
I get that from the dupe. Its delicious!

I'm about to blind buy akro bake because every sample site in my area is sold out 😅
