In this clip, DJ Vlad refers Michael Jai White to a previous conversation with Keefe D about Suge Knight and a bodyguard of his getting beaten up by an individual who had been trained in martial arts. To that, Michael says that he's not surprised because being trained in martial arts serves as a significant advantage in a street fight. Then, Michael explains why larger men tend to struggle more in combat due to a lack of endurance and the giant targets that they are. Well according to people who was part of the Death Row/ mob Piru crew..Suge didn’t get into a lot of fights! He beat people up smaller than him…but rarely had fights one on one when he may have been evenly matched size wise. Both Mob James and his brother Timmy Ru have confirmed this. So has RBX!

It probably wasn't MMA because MMA wasn't even really thing/thing when Suge caught an L. MMA is relatively new concept. Fighting has been around since the dawn of man. Martial Arts a couple thousand years. The concept of Mixed Martial Arts maybe 30 years. And regular brothers from the hood weren't doing it. I mean...what is Karate? A martial art. Of you combined Judo concepts and Taekwondo concepts to the style...now it's Mixed Martial Arts.

That's always been 1 of my arguments as to why Floyd Mayweather was so good. As a poster stated, Fighting and knowing how to fight are 2 totally different things. That's why you see guys like Arturo Gatti, Ricky Hatton, Canelo Alvarez get mopped by Mayweather. Those guys are great fighters, but not great boxers. A great Boxer will beat a great fighter 9/10 times. I say 9/10 because you can get caught. Boxing is the technical side, the sweet science as they call it. Anyone can get in a ring and throw punches, but not anyone can get in their a box.

In 7th grade we had Big Bird for muscle, man in 7th grade he was a good 6'4 at 290, 300 lbs...me and another scrawny 105 lb kid were skirmishes for him, we fight and punch kids with him behind us waiting to grab one so we could beat them more, this worked for about 5 weeks, an average side kid rushed Big Bird one day and put his shoulder in his gut and bent those knees and the 300 pounder went down, me and Johnny looked at each other and ran for help😅but time we came back with help 5 minutes later😅they were still stomping Big Bird ass😅when back up asked us why we left him it was simple, he was our table turner, we'd typically were out numbered only his size keep them at bay, his size was useless on his back, we helped him by getting help, no need for 3 of us getting stomped into dust😊

Size does matter if the big guy is a trained fighter. A 300lb untrained man could get whipped by a 150lb trained fighter. If the 300lb man is a trained fighter then it's not a fair fight

There's a reason why they have weight classes. If they have the same skills the larger guy will likely have the advantage. If someone is smaller and had skills in martial arts vs a large guy without skills then yes small guy has advantage.
Size does matter. You fight a similarly skilled guy, whose 30+ lbs bigger than you with MCMAP, you’re taking an L.

Cauliflower ear, stance, staying on the balls of their feet. If you get the feeling they fight for a living, unless you do also, they are probably going to win if gunplay isn't involved
