In 1086, the Domesday Book listed Dunestal as the only settlement in the area which now makes up the parish of Dartmouth, Notable tourist attractions include the Dartmouth Royal Naval College, Bayard's Cove Fort, Dartmouth Castle and the Dartmouth Steam Railway which terminates at Kingswear on the opposite bank of the river.
Boat cruises to nearby places along the coast (such as Torbay and Start Bay) and up the river (to Totnes, Dittisham and the Greenway Estate) are provided by several companies.

Could this be a mandela effect news: Has the Cinema Changed Location From Kingswear to Dartmouth ? From Early 2000's, So i didn't go there to see a film due to going to Torquay, Paignton, Exeter ,Plymouth Cinema a lot as a kid to today, , but wanted to go to Kingswear , and now it shows it never existed, has the Cinema completely Changed location for The Flavel? was there a old one and now gone, or have i step into another earth universe as a kid, it maybe near, to the place only a ferry away, but wasn't in the late 90s or early 2000 when i was like 11-13 years old somewhere else, i can remember the Cinema, located in Kingswear, Fore Street where The Coastal House is. next to the Passenger Ferry, was it just a now showing poster or was it something that never was there, now it just blown my mind, it apparently has always been The Flavel Arts Centre and Cinema at Dartmouth what!
