Dartmouth is another awesome seaside village and community of course with all of the beautiful houses and buildings facing the sea and it has very nice breathtaking scenery Thanks again for another exciting tour and walk, take care and until next time Thank You.🇬🇧
Very surprised that a town as big as Dartmouth doesn't have a train 🚂 station. It looks gorgeous with lots of architectural interest. More of a harbour/inlet than a seaside resort? The tug ferry looks fun. Very pretty 👍
It’s a bit of a problem in the UK. In the 1960s many railway stations were axed and some lines taken up to cut the costs of running the railways. A surprising number of tourist places no longer have stations and a few like Dartmouth never had one but it does have buses
It does have a train station. It’s the only train station in England. That doesn’t have a railway line. The railway line stops at Kingswear because Brunel could not get it across the river Dart because of the subsoil and so it ended it kingswear but there has always been since 1823 a railway station at Dartmouth where you could get your tickets to anywhere in the United Kingdom, sadly that is closed and you have to leave from Kingswear
I really enjoyed the video the walk Loved the boats especially the ferry and the harbour.the buildings were lovely and the scenery was great aswell thanks Neil for your time have a great day love the channel Could you film Eastbourne please
Now you're talking, I moved to Devon and dartmoor and Dartmouth are my favourite places , I'm 54 Tuesday and go here every yr for my birthday, we absolutely love it 😊
My family and I used to visit Dartmouth regularly in the 80's and 90's. we also had a large Caravan, 'moored' in a excellent site, just outside the town. There is a very steep hill to drive down into the Town, with a marvelous panaramic view of the Harbour and Town. Dartmouth is also ideal, as a starting point . to travel and visit other nearby places of interest. Sadly, I'm the only member left now, and seeing this excellent vlog, brings back wonderful memories.
I have been here too an excellent place to visit. How about visiting the South East Coast of Ireland and comparing it to North Somerset Devon and Dorset as both coasts are across from each other and lots of places on either side of the Celtic Sea are very alike.
The colour of the river water is lovely! Thanks for the video.
Thank you 🙏
I went there in the dead of winter and it was incredibly quiet but really lovely and calm.
I think winter sometimes is the best time to explore and visit places
Beautiful views

Which coastal towns would you recommend to folks who would like to relocate?
Depends on your budget and what you're looking for really!
