Get good armor from seasonal vendors/master dungeons first to get high stats. Farm for good weapons like vs velocity baton from vespers host so you have a good loadout then either practice solo or find like minded people to play with. With a good build you'd be surprised how many people will take you in lfg groups regardless of your experience. Good luck o7
